Day 13- Favourite Canon Ship (In-show Past or Present) – Captain Swan baby! It gives me happy tears nowadays when I reflect on how far Emma and Hook have come in their relationship since their early beginnings in season two. They weren’t enemies, per se, but on the opposite sides with different goals. But there was definitely a connection there in Tallahassee after that trip up the bean stalk. They were set up as Kindred Spirits for a reason, and I don’t think it’s coincidental at all that their journey this season (4a), parallel each other. Hook made a deal he didn’t quite understand and Emma did the same thing (ironically with the same person, Rumple). They both have walls but bit by bit, they’re breaking down them and falling in love with each other. The thing that attracted me to CS is the first adventure up the beanstalk, how impressed Hook was with her talents. He was in awe of what she could do from the start and looked at her as an equal, and he still does. He loves everything about her and he doesn’t take for granted that they’re in this relationship together. What they become, it’s as much up to Emma as it is to him (his words to Charming in 4×02). He builds up Emma’s confidence in herself, they understand each other, he makes her happy, they make each other happy and I know Emma isn’t quite as vocal about her feelings for Hook as he is for her, but I have every confidence that she’ll get there. I’ve been doing this ‘shipping thing for a long time and Captain Swan is seriously the most beautiful ‘ship I have ever ‘shipped because Emma and Hook could not be more perfect for each other. And I just feel by season’s end, something monumentally big is going to happen between these two.

I mostly do casual shipping ( if that’s even a thing). There are few ships I would call My OTPs and among them CaptainSwan is my true number 1.
I adore Emma & Killian. Their love story is so beautifully written.
Emma’s been hurt to many times hoping to find home, family and love. She needs somebody who has unwavering faith in her, because she deems herself unworthy of love etc.(hint: that’s why Snow Queen – and then Rumple- could so easily manipulate her). Somebody who will stand by her side no matter what, won’t let her push him away or be scared of all her emotional baggage. Someone who will always fight for her and would not fear to do everything for her. She’s been abandonded to many times. That’s what Killian does for her. He may be a broken soul but love has always been his guide.
Hook had lost all hope every time he had lost a loved one . Emma is his ray of sunshine. She gave him hope, a purpose in his long and though life. She’s the reason he thought about his live before piracy. He saw her doing the right thing and being prepared to risk everything to do so. She reminded him that he can be a hero once again, that he can belong somewhere, have someone to care for. Someone he can try to be worthy of.
Their story is a tale about two broken people, who are slowly making themselves whole again, by loving each other. The best therapy is the one that happens in real life(in that case in their real life). There is passion, understanding, intimacy, and growing commitment. I have two, Swanfire (Emma/Neal) and ScarletQueen (Will/Anastasia) but i’ll just talk about one.
Swanfire/SwanThief
All the reasons why I love them can be categorized between 3 parts:1) There pasts are incredibly and intentionally similar. “Child left by parents, in a strange new world alone who had to become a thief to survive on their own” Yep. that sums em both up. Plus the parallels. The curse, the premise for the show, is about the both of them! The curse was created to find Bae and Emma was destined to break it. Through 200…or 250-ish years, in the entire world, these two people managed to meet, and not only meet, they fell in love. What are the odds. The child of The Dark One and The Daughter Of True Love!!!! Yeah, reserve me a seat on that ship.
2) By their own words, they love each other and never stopped loving each other.
3) Henry deserves to have his father.
I know I may be here in the minority in saying this but I still firmly believe that SwanFire is ultimately endgame. For reasons. That is all I shall say v_v(Ya know the funny thing is I had to delete quite a bit of this because I started rambling about nonsense xD I actually had a sentence that started like “Prince Charming needs to die right now because…” and “Maybe Ursula’s tentacles aren’t even slimy like a real octopus’s” XDDD!!!! Yeah I read that and was like what the heck am I talking about *deletes everything*)

Although it’s losing it’s number one spot as OVERALL TV favorite canon ship to Empire’s Luscious and Cookie….OutlawQueen is still my favorite OUAT Ship.
Reasons:
1. It was prophesied, fated, destined…call it what you will…Robin and Regina are soul mates.
2. Both have two sons…one of them who is really, really adorable!!!
3. Both apparently share a dark past that morphed one into an Evil Queen and the other into an Outlaw.
4. Both are strong, witty, and can take you down if they see a need to do so.
5. The chemistry is sizzling.
6. Both suffered the loss of their previous true loves, that is until a certain Blonde Savior interceded, thus bringing along some much unneeded issues.
7. The trust between them is intense…Soul mate Trust! And they’ve got each other’s back no matter what. That’s Love!

Day 13 – Favourite Canon Ship
I’m actually going to go more traditional by choosing Snowing. I don’t really have an OTP, but to me Snowing is the core relationship of the show. Plus, I love how they modernized it with the way Charming meets Bandit Snow (in both timelines). There would be no Emma, no Henry, and therefore no show if Snowing never got together. What also makes Snowing unique is that Ginny and Josh are a couple in real life, so that only makes their onscreen chemistry even more natural.
This might be an…unusual opinion, but I really like Swanfire and CaptainSwan. I agree with the reasons already stated by anyone shipping either of the two couples. I did see Neal’s death as a cop-out by the writers…her relationship with Hook would’ve had much more validity if she had chosen him instead of Neal, because even if Hook was her true choice, the viewers don’t get to see her make that decision because they killed him off. If she had chosen to get together with Hook, while maintaining a loving, trusting friendship with Neal, I would’ve been perfectly okay with that, because she would’ve been happy, and Henry would’ve had his father. But I definitely think that both Neal and Hook love Emma, and that she loves both of them in her own way.
But my Once OTP up until the second half of Season 3 was Rumbelle. I loved that Belle was the light to Rumple’s darkness, and I thought that their relationship was unique and beautiful…and that through loving the other person, it made you better. But then that got ruined with all of Rumple’s lies 🙁
Day 13- Favourite Canon Ship (In-show Past or Present)
RumBelle- They’re my OTP. I’ve always loved couples where at least one half is a “villain” because of the conflicting interests. I find RumBelle so interesting because it’s not the stereotypical pairing of beautiful girl and handsome prince. RumBelle are the very essence of hope on the show for me, that no matter how badly you screw up or how unlovable you think you are, there is always someone who will love you for being you and see the best in you even when you can’t see it yourself and will try and help you be the best you can be. Whilst Rumple gets a lot out of the relationship, so doe Belle. She found someone who treated her as an equal, who respects her, who lets her have her own opinion, who loves Belle for who she is, something she may not have gotten in FTL if she’d married Gaston.
I also love how RumBelle weren’t love at first sight. It took them time to get used to each other and they developed a friendship before diving into anything romantic.
All magic comes with a price!

Laughing that least favorite ship falls on Valentine’s Day. How appropriate.
So I haven’t participated in any of this but those who know me know my allegiance will always be to Swanfire and Rumbelle. For all the reasons Watcher listed and many more. Both ships were poetic in their formation. I shall go down with both and remain steadfast and loyal.
