I think I’m going to pick that brief moment when Rumple hugs both Belle and Neal after the return from Neverland in S3A. For just a moment, the three of them were so happy and hopeful and all their smiles were so genuine.
This is where the show ended for me. Right there. Take out the Pan/Henry body swap, of course, but Rumple with his son and the love of his life, happy, changed, scared but not broken…that was where ONCE ended for me. Everything that has come after….*sigh*

The scene from Once Wonderland where Will breaks the Love spell put on her by Jafar with a True Love Kiss.

As others have said, there are too many too choose from, so I am unable to pick out one…
Season 1: Regina and Emma’s fight in the hospital cupboard, Regina killing Graeme (excellent acting all round).
Season 2: Regina dissipating Daniel. Broke my heart…I actually cried.
Season 3: ep 11 on the town line, saying goodbye to each other and Regina zapping the scroll into the curse cloud, and all Regina-baby Henry moments. Seeing everyone move as a camp towards the castle in FTL was wonderful too. So great to see everyone in FTL costume together. Regina and Emma smiling at each other while Regina is in her office with all her equipment trying to figure out how to get everyone’s memories back.
***Also the first kiss between Regina and Robin Hood!****
Season 4: Snow Queen/Ingrid dying. Regina telling Henry that he has is own gifts.

RG, I second your choice. Also, not a fan of the Hook shooting Belle scene. The scene leading up to it between her and Rumple was nice…just not after Hook shot her and she lost her memory.
February 20, 2015 at 9:18 am #296414KebParticipantI think Neal’s death is my least favorite scene overall, because the whole thing felt so OOC and still unnecessary to the story…
But I’m going to dwell on another one because it was so bad I kept fast-forwarding through it when I was rewatching the episode. The acting and plotline for Whale’s flashbacks in In the Name of the Brother were downright painful, to the point of near unwatchability. It could have been good and I loved the black and white realm, but the way it was done (and especially after The Outsider left me desperate to see what was going to happen with Belle) just hurt. Rather a low point for the series, especially in a season that in retrospect had such good stuff around it.

Ditto this….I was stunned because I didn’t really think Adam and Eddy would go through with it, but they did….
Another one of my least favorite scenes is Neal’s funeral…like really, five seconds? You couldn’t give this man a more proper funeral with words from Emma and Henry at least??????

Regina defeats Zelena- I dislike this scene so much even more than Neal’s death and Hook shooting Belle. Regina was put in a role that doesn’t fit her, shooting light magic and spouting “heroes don’t kill” is not what Regina does. It’s what Emma does, or at least what Snowing does minus the white magic. It’s as if the writers sidelined the rest of the characters and made them useless just so they could push forward the Regina pity party. They made Regina Emma and made Emma useless. The “heroes don’t kill” line is what bugs me the most in that scene because it was so patronising of Regina.

Well I can’t say much for the “Heroes don’t kill” part because after much consideration I’ve come to agree with you somewhat. That line from Regina could have been used somewhere down the line or back in NL like this:
Regina: What are you doing? Heroes don’t kill…that’s my job.
But…I do understand what Regina was saying, and where she was coming from because she was the hero. And I think she was just trying to get through to Rumple about doing the right thing, she didn’t mean it in a patronizing manner. Now Regina defeating Zelena…the whole 3B arc was Wicked vs Evil, sister against sister, it would’ve been terrible writing for Emma to defeat Zelena when it was Regina’s place to do so. And as for Emma being useless…well, I’m not going to sugar coat it…what has she done since breaking the curse in S1?
