Day 20– Least Favorite Scene:
Neal’s death. But atleast we got this gif out of it

Season 1: EQ taking Graeme’s heart, threatening him by saying that if he does not do exactly what she wants, she will killing him, then having him dragged to her bed chambers.
I think the worst part of it all is lack of in-show and off-show acknowledgement of what this scene really means.
Season 2: Cora throwing Johanna out of the window, Regina complaining to Henry and telling him her plans to take him back to FTL without everyone else, then wiping his memories.
Season 3: any scene with Peter Pan in it haha.
Season 4: Robin Hood saying he is throwing away his moral code to spend the night with her, and in the crypt no less.

There are a few scenes that were quite emotional, but I’m going to go with two that I don’t think other people will cover:
1. From the second-to-last episode of season 1, when Emma is telling Henry she is going to leave, and he is trying to persuade her that the apple pastry was poisoned by magic and she doesn’t believe him. That scene made me tear up…Emma was crying, and Henry was actually important to the show!
2. The Season 3 mid-season finale…from Rumple’s sacrifice to Regina’s, for me, in terms of character development, the show should’ve ended right there. Everything since has gone backwards.

I think, after all this time, the most heartbreaking scene for is still Rumple yelling “because no one, no one can ever , ever, love me,” followed by him smashing up the Dark One’s Castle in ‘Skin Deep,’ with Mark Ishman’s music playing over. It always gets to me.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"February 21, 2015 at 9:54 am #296499PriceofMagicParticipantDay 21- Most Heartbreaking Scene
Belle banishing Rumple over the town line- Not so much because of what the scene was about but how it played out. Basically what made it most heartbreaking was Belle not allowing Rumple to touch her and saying that she could no longer see the man but only the beast. RumBelle have been very touchy feely with each other from the word go and Belle has always believed Rumple wasn’t a monster even when he didn’t believe it himself, so for HER to turn around to Rumple and say what she did was literally heartbreaking for Rumple because she was his only real ally who believed there was any real good in him.

Emma: I was angry at you for so long… Wondering how you could choose to let me grow up without you. But then I just… Seeing all this… You gave up everything for me. And you’re still doing that. I’m sorry, I’m not good at this. I… I guess I just… I’m not… I’m not used to someone putting me first.
It was the only time in Once’s history that this show made me cry really hard. But that scene, I think also set Emma’s arc of finding love, of finding a love who is perfect for her.
February 21, 2015 at 11:00 am #296503KebParticipantI’m gonna second Rumple’s death (and add in Neal’s) as absolutely heartbreaking, to the point where it was hard for me to even timeline for a while after both of those.
But one that sticks out is when Belle shatters Chip–Rumple was trying so hard, was so desperate to get her back he even risked TLK, and she just shatters the cup.
Also heartbreaking: when he uses the cup to bring her back because he believes his son is gone and he just NEEDS her even if they are about to die. And the first thing she realizes when she wakes up is how much pain he’s in.

2×05: The Doctor “Then Love Again”
Regina Lets Daniel Go
I think the most heart wrenching scene for me is the moment where Regina had to kill her own true love, Daniel just to set himself free from the pain. Out of every character we’ve seen on Once…no one has been forced to make that type of choice except probably Rumpelstilskin with Neal. Lana Parrilla and Noah Bean acted the heck out of that scene, and they led us on because first she got through to him, and it was all smiles and hugs till Daniel’s pain came back…that was the worst hurt Once has ever dealt to my heart.
Look at the desperation, and the cracking of a once strong woman who would rather die than let someone see her this vulnerable and afraid…she’s practically losing her mind and falling apart trying to protect her first love Daniel from another unfortunate death….This is the man she became evil about all in the name of avenging his death! This is NOT the Evil Queen or Mayor Mills…this is just Regina Mills who has reverted back to her teen years, back to that moment where she had to stand there and watch her mother tear out her love’s heart and crush it before her very eyes, and now all she can do is kick, scream, and plead with David to let her talk to her fiancée! This scene was everything!!!
I may ship OutlawQueen as my top OTP on OUAT now, but that is only because StableQueen was screwed over. Had it been Daniel brought back instead of Marian…it would be an impossible choice for me to side with whom!
I think a part of me just got pi**ed off all over again…

I think it would’ve been a much richer story as well if it had been Daniel brought back instead of Marian because as an audience, we are more emotionally invested in Regina than we are with Robin. We get the significance of Daniel in the OUAT lore, we’d actually get to see Regina’s struggle between the two men in her life, not just hear about it.

When Regina had to dissipate Daniel in Season 2. I actually cried.

Yes, Lana’s acting in this scene was superb, one of her best scenes, I reckon. I too could see the Young Regina coming back in that scene, and the desperation… it broke my heart.
The townline scene in 3a had me crying too, so this takes second place.
