Favorite plot twist:
Well, the one that made my jaw drop most recently was the reveal that Arendelle had been frozen for 30 years. I think I literally shouted “WHAT?” at that point, taking in the timeline ramifications.
But my favorite is probably Henry being Neal’s son and Rumple’s grandson. I LOVE that they’re one big family. And I really hate that they set up and then scarcely used Henry’s working in the shop–we could have had some really great grandpastiltskin moments, but they only left two in the show.
Oh, and Belle’s being alive at the end of Skin Deep is probably a close second. That little bit of hope at the end probably kept me watching for the rest of the season.

I would say Neal being Bae, but I saw that coming. I thought it was plot-twisty that Snow was the one to cast the curse in 3B. I wasn’t expecting that.

Hmmm…. Elsa coming out of the urn was actually very surprising because its one of the things I think NO ONE saw coming. Season4A was very underwhelming for me, but still, I think it was the only tie in OUAT where I actually jumped up and screamed.

WICKEDSISTERS!!
I predicted WickedSisters immediately after 3×11 aired, and worked hard for two and half months proving to our fellow Oncers that it was going to become Canon!!! And it did!!! The Mills Sisters will always be the best plot twist for me!

I knew Frozen would be coming in as early as Season 4, because I knew full well that Adam and Eddy loved the movie and wouldn’t be able to resist. but I didn’t expect it to be immediately at the start of Season 4, nor did I expect Elsa to appear in the Season 3 finale.

Oh god, where do I begin?
Hmmm…the one with Bo peep in it.
Day 25- Favourite Plot Twist
Red Riding Hood being the wolf.
The rest of the sensible plot-twists have not been a surprise to me because I had guessed them all 🙂
Keeper of Regina's bravery

Going back in time days after his death and NOT finding a way to save Neal’s life? WTH?
VERY close second being Marian’s coming back and Robin basically cheating on both Marian and Regina as a result. Screw the code so he can screw the queen? No thank you.
Honorable mention being August’s return to boyhood WITHOUT dealing with ALL the issues…
…and I’ll address this more tomorrow, but finding Anna and NEVER letting her speak to Belle.

Emma and Hook bringing Marian back from the past, causing a whole slew of issues with Robin and Regina. Making Regina be the one who killed Marian in the first place especially doesn’t help.

I forgot about that! That’s one of my favorites too!
Least favorite Plot Twist:
Tamara and Greg working for Pan. Why couldn’t Tamara just be a normal fiancé?

Oh boy where to begin? I have a lot. But I’ll just do a few that pop into my head first.
1) WickedSisters. I hated the whole Oz arc; I thought it was poorly done from writing to acting and everything in between. The whole “you have a surprise sister!” is so tortuously soapy and silly, especially since none of it tied into any sort of Oz mythology. It felt like I really had to stretch not to see it as a total retcon and it also felt very obvious that it was never planned.
2) DaddyPan. In the end, I did not like that Peter Pan was Rumple’s father. There was a much nicer, cleaner, explanation that ALSO fit with established Peter Pan lore: Peter being Rumple’s brother. At least that would have kept with Barrie’s original work but been a ONCE twist.
3) This is going here until I see it play out but the fact that characters from the EF keep being in our world but not in SB goes against a lot of the original set up of this show. The Dragon–we don’t know how he got here. Ingrid–magical door. Ursula and Cruella–we shall see.
4) Rumple killing Zelena and becoming super duper evil. I hated Zelena but I don’t condone murder and I hate the arc it started for Rumple. They have yet to give a believable in show explanation for his complete and utter obsession for power and power alone. They never bring up Neal and the trauma Rumple suffered watching his son die. They have a ready made excuse in Neal’s death that would also continue to make Rumple sympathetic, something that they had done for the first few seasons, but instead it’s just “he’s a selfish devil!” Rumple has always been far more complex than that and they’ve reduced him to being so one note and farcical that I can’t even call him my favorite character anymore. I’m honestly waiting for him to have an evil mustache to twirl.
