Day 6- Least Favourite Female Recurring Character (Past or Present)
Aurora.
I enjoyed the actress in The Tudors, but her acting skills seemed weak in Once. Also I find the character to be a bit of a brat.
Mulan and Ruby come in at a close second (weak acting).
Tamara…was okay by herself. I quite enjoyed the character and the science vs magic concept that came with her. Greg by himself was okay too. But together they were awful, both the characters and the acting.

I’m sad to even admit this but Once has really disappointed me when it comes to Ariel. The Little Mermaid is my top favorite Disney movie (the boyfriend’s too) and Once has really disappointed me with what they’ve done with her character — which is nothing. Thus far, she’s been reduced to being a plot device. Joanna Garcia is great as Ariel but I really wish Once would do more with her character. and I know she’s coming back in 4B but I have very low expectations about her appearance altogether..

Leroy/Grumpy–hands down the best comic relief in the show, and yet he’s got fantastic and complicated relationships with the main cast. I only wish they’d use him more–his friendship with Belle, his feelings about Blue, bring back Nova/Astrid, etc.

Felix- I liked his character and wished we had gotten more on him but he’s just part of the long list of Neverland unanswered questions. I felt sorry for him when Pan killed him because he was Pan’s loyal friend, being the only one to stay on Pan’s side despite there not being any benefit in doing so, and Pan repaid him by crushing his heart. What I think is most interesting though is that, whilst it’s easy to say that Pan was manipulative and only using Felix, Pan must’ve felt some sort of genuine care and affection for Felix in order for Felix to qualify as the thing that Pan loved most.

Jefferson. I loved his character and I loved the actor and the way he portrayed him. Too bad we can’t see more of him….yet. His interaction with Emma is still something I loved, I mean they have a bit of…chemistry. I ship #MadSwan v_v atleast we will get to see more of his story in the upcoming graphic novel.

Day 7- Favorite Male Recurring Character (Past or Present)
I had Robin for my favorite main Male character, so yeah…I’m going to second @TheWatcher’s with Jefferson. Despite him playing a hand in polluting Regina, I think he eventually truly came to see her as a friend of sorts….and his character was very interesting, and to be honest…I wouldn’t mind seeing him again in Season 5, that’s if we get one. I’d love to see an update on him and Grace. And I’d kinda want to see his reunion with both Regina, and Emma and Snow….I think the last time Emma and Snow saw him was when Snow momma kicked him out that window!

I really liked Jefferson as well, but my favorite probably has to be Graham. I didn’t like his relationship with Regina, but he was totally being manipulated, and I really sympathized with his character. He seemed like a very sweet person, and I was sad he got killed off so early in the show.

It was Robin until 4a; his recent storyline has made him look like a jerk.
The Mad Hatter/Jefferson is my favorite.
Dr Hopper, Graham and adult Pinoccio all come in at a close join second.
Basically, there are a lot of supporting cast members whom I feel are better actors and have more interesting characters than some of the regular/main cast.

Jefferson/The Mad Hatter
I thought this introduction episode was spectacular and it opened a great possibility of the room full of doors (that has sadly gone unrealized). He had great chemistry with both Regina and Emma and I loved that he was really just a father trying to learn from his past mistakes.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"February 8, 2015 at 3:38 am #295537MatthewPaulModeratorFigured I’d finally start giving my own take on this:
Day 1- Favourite Female Regular Character (Past or Present)
Regina. I feel there are two main reasons so many fans love her: 1) She’s such a complex character and 2) Lana Parrilla does a phenomenal job with her performance.Day 2- Least Favourite Female Regular Character (Past or Present)
This is a hard one, as I don’t flat out dislike any of them. I’m going to have to say Ruby, only because she’s been so wasted as a character. Don’t get me wrong she can be awesome, but she didn’t do much when she was a regular in Season 2, and actually did more back when she was only recurring in Season 1. Plus, her Season 2 centric was weak. I actually love the character, but compared to the other female regulars, I had to choose her.Day 3- Favourite Male Regular Character (Past or Present)
Rumple. While I may not be too big a fan of Season 4 Rumple, overall he’s still the male regular I enjoy watching the most. I love Rumple when he’s crazy, when he’s manipulative, and even when he’s tortured. Like Lana, Robert Carlyle does such a great job with his performance.Day 4- Least Favourite Male Regular Character (Past or Present)
Sorry, but it has to be Neal Cassidy. Just being completely honest here. That might sound weird when his father happens to be my favorite male regular, but of course each character has to be able to stand on their own. I’m in the camp who was fascinated with Young Baelfire, but felt things went flat when it came to the character as a grown up. There’s always been that jarring disconnect between the two versions. Plus, not to get into the specifics, but I wasn’t a fan of a lot of the decisions he made as an adult. I agree with Baelfire/Neal fans that the character had a lot of potential, but unfortunately the writers squandered that. We may disagree how they did so, but the character was definitely botched one way or another, and I at least respect those who saw more in him than I honestly ever could.Day 5- Favourite Female Recurring Character (Past or Present)
Elsa, mainly because it was nice for Emma to finally have a BFF. Plus, the character was fun to have around.Day 6- Least Favourite Female Recurring Character (Past or Present)
Tamara. Do I even have to explain why I dislike her? Enough people have already covered it.Day 7- Favourite Male Recurring Character (Past or Present)
Jefferson. I just really enjoyed his character, and wish they could have done more with him. But alas, Sebastian Stan is heavily in demand and busy.Day 8- Least Favourite Male Recurring Character (Past or Present)
Greg Mendell. Like Tamara, he was really just a plot device. Ethan Embry, Greg’s actor, is on record for saying that his role on the show was altered from when he originally signed on. He was only set to appear in a few episodes, but his role was expanded upon for the rest of Season 2. I think Greg really was supposed to be just a stranger who visited town, and not affiliated with the Home Office. But of course once they got the ok to do Peter Pan and go to Neverland, everything changed. That’s probably another reason Tamara’s character suffered, too. Maybe she really was originally going to be just Neal’s fiancee or be the alter ego of a fairy tale character. So both characters were turned into plot devices to get the cast to Neverland at the last minute. -
