I agree with what was said above. Snow White took a huge risk of sacrifice just for Emma, and that action will speak volumes more than her words did at their initial reunion. Emma has been the one to sacrifice for love, risking her life to fight the dragon and save Henry in 1×22, and consequently, everyone else. Now, Emma gets to be the recipient of a mother’s sacrificial love, and that is going to have powerful effects on Emma and hopefully begin a healing process.

Well from the flashback she got when she touched the book in the season 1 finale she probably did get some images of what happened but I think when it comes out about why she didn’t have either parent with her… That may help the relationship with her parents but it’ll probably leave whatever relationship she has with August strained a bit. I know there will be some areas of romance for Emma this season so I think the whole Pinocchio taking one of her parents place in the wardrobe and then him subsequnetly abandoning her may come back to bite him if that kind of thing is explored between the two of them. I like that idea about actions meaning more than words and playing back to what led to remember Charming in “Heart of Darkness.”

K&H said that Snow only started to realise just how much harm she had caused Emma/her daughter when Emma asked her what was worse- being cursed but together? or being cursed to live your entire life feeling abandoned, unloved & alone?
That really affected Snow they said, just how deeply hurt Emma was. It was never meant to be that way- but Emma ended paying a price they never imagined she’d have to pay.
Which is why Snow didn’t hesitate when she jumped in after her leaving her James behind- she couldn’t put Emma through that again.

I do think when Emma gets over the shock of it (her life is almost the entire opposite it was less than a day ago lol), she’ll start to heal & move forward 🙂

Totally. Snow doesn’t realize how badly Emma was harmed by it. It was not her intention. But none of that matters in light of the fact that Emma was harmed, truly harmed, by their choice to be sent away. I look forward to them working through that and starting to move forward and heal. I really like how they do Emma and Snow and Charming because it feel real to me, so i hope they keep doing that and that it is hard at first and not just easy, not just sunshine and kittens right away.

As fun as it’s gonna be to see how Emma and Snow reconnect and start to bond I hope down the line Emma gets to bond with her dad too. Henry is gonna get to be close to his grandfather and that’s cool but Emma and David weren’t all that close in season 1 and now they start off apart once again. I wonder how it would have been if it had been Charming that followed through the portal and Snow was left behind with Henry? Of course that would now leave Snow in charge of the town as it looks like David is gonna have to take charge but still.

I don’t doubt Rumple is the man who approaches Regina–who else would it be—I just wonder that means for his overall goals. Is this more of Rumple “seeing” the future and knowing that it’s Regina who has to enact the curse, but first he’s got to “turn” her–so to speak? It seems that Regina having magic has caused a whole slew of problems for everyone–except Rumple if his long con is to get to our world, break the curse with the help of the savior and then find Bae.

I thought about that too, but honestly, I think Emma needs ‘someone’ she call at least tentatively rely on within her family dynamic, Henry is to young & MM was her best friend who she had started to consider family already.
I think Snow & Emma need to have some connection Before Emma tackles Charming & being a full time Mum, she needs at least one person she has some sort of give & take relationship with to help things move along, other wise she’ll just be internalising things again & feel ganged up on- she’s more likely to open up to Snow/MM than Charming on account of their previous relationship- remember Charming is still peeved at being cursed & going through all that, as well as guilt & shame at what he put Snow/MM through, he has issues he needs to work through & he’s only being a Dad for what 2-3hrs & now he has to figure out how to raise a 10yr old 😉

Yeah that’s true the transition for MM and Emma maybe awkward but at least they have something to build on which at least would make it easier. That’s why Emma and Charming reconnecting will probably have to happen sometime down the line. The Henry and Charming relationship look like it’s gonna be fun anyway but down the line I’m looking forward to seeing more of Emma and Charming repairing their relationship.

But Snow and Emma are currently in present day FTL. And they have a scene with Cora? How does that all work together? Unless they somehow jump back in time? But doesn’t info for future eps say that Mulan and Aurora help them to find a portal back to SB? Would they ALL time jump to FTL past? Surely Aurora wouldn’t leave the time and place that Phillip is still in? Could Cora be in present day FTL, even if they’re also showing YoungSnow and YoungRegina stuff? My head hurts. Again. 😆
