I was so worried that the were switching the episodes around because I saw that spoiler about episode 7’s cast list last night and people were speculating that they switched the order around because they still had to work on episode 6.
Woo!!! Finally confirmation that Michael Raymond-James is really in this episode. Aw, I’m already tearing up at the description though. I can’t wait to find out what went wrong between them even if the angst causes me to have too many sad feelings. 😥

Safe to assume that the “fellow thief” will be in Emma’s real world flashbacks? Played by MRJ? AKA Jack? AKA Bae?
YAY Eion! Wonder if that means August is human again, or if it’ll just be his voice for the man-puppet?
October 13, 2012 at 12:56 pm #156532marilouParticipantwhat does “make an honest women” mean?
October 13, 2012 at 1:08 pm #156535SlurpeezParticipantTo make an honest woman out of someone means to propose marriage.

That’s just what I was thinking. I think that “fellow thief” certainly could refer to Jack, who stole the golden-egg-laying hen from the giant in the original fairy-tale. Maybe he and Emma lived a life of crime as thieves in our world, which is how Emma got arrested as a teenager.
Also, the fact that he “wants to make an honest woman of her” makes me wonder if he knew about Emma’s pregnancy after all, which would lead him to propose to her. That’d be a twist if Emma just told Regina the father didn’t know about Henry. Maybe he does, and has been searching for Emma ever since, which is why she moved around a lot and gave up Henry–to protect him from his dad.
I also think it’s very interesting that Captain Hook and MRJ (hopefully Baelfire) are in the same episode. It’s gives me hope they’re father and son. If Milha had an ongoing extra-marrital affair while Rumpel was at war, I could see Hook as the true biological father of Baelfire.
Also, since we’re going to see Eion Bailey in this episode, I think we’re going to get confirmation that August and Baelfire know each other in our world. Also, I think we’re bound to see Geppetto and Pinocchio’s father-son reunion which might parallel a reunion between Henry Mills and his dad. (Maybe we’ll even see a reunion between Rumpel and Bae). 🙂

That is what it normal means, so maybe, but if Emma is only 16 or 17 then maybe they are actually talking about trying to get her to turn around and stop being a thief. It is surprising to me if Emma just goes to jail for stealing. I thought it would be more emotional then that, the crime.
That is a lot of characters for an episode.
October 13, 2012 at 2:04 pm #156542kranenParticipantSo I’m assuming that Michael is Bae and August went to go find in ‘We are Both’ to bring him to Storybrooke. Perhaps Rumple sent him and that’s why we see Rumple standing at the border at the end of the episode.
October 13, 2012 at 2:11 pm #156543lilredParticipantUnder Bae/Jack/Henry’s dad – I wouldn’t be surprised if it did mean this thief was getting serious and ‘courting’ her for marriage (and creeping Emma out completely with her trust issues!) Bae was raised like a Middle Ages’ peasant, where that would be the standard as teenagers let alone if he was in love with her. I do think part of the equation could be him trying to talk her into leaving the lifestyle and running away with him (maybe to Arizona??) – which brings to question if he was the one who turned her in. If he thought that was the only way to make her see sense, that he couldn’t help her….still doesn’t explain him not ‘being a hero’ since I think adult Emma would understand these motives…

Part of me really likes this theory and can see the episode ending with Bae opening his apartment door and finding August there. But August is wooden again – would he be able to move around, unnoticed, in New York? Really do think he probably sent the postcard and that’s where he was when his papa came to this room…
