Having the WWW being Regina’s sister just feels so ret-conny to me. Cora basically staked all her hopes and dreams of ruling on to Regina. To reveal that she has another child just feels so outta place. And I don’t think she had a baby before Henry Sr.

I could easily see Cora having had a baby out of wedlock and trying to hush up that fact because she said royal brides were expected to be snow white. Something tells me Cora was anything but virginal, since I’m pretty sure she and Rumple were lovers, but she would want to give the impression of being unsullied when she married Prince Henry. If so, then if she had another child by someone else, she might’ve made certain no one ever discovered she had an older daughter, the WWW. That is why she put all of her hopes into raising Regina, her legitimate child of noble blood, and why Cora might’ve despised her eldest daughter and why she ended up being raised in another world entirely, Oz.

ALL THAT NEEDS TO BE SAID! Look at the family resemblance…

So, I was listening to the commentary for The Miller’s Daughter today and Jane Espenson said something, can’t remember the exact wording but basically, she wondered if Rumple and Cora had a baby, what would he or she look like? In other words, would Rumple’s dark one scales or something similar pass down to a child?

IMO IF WickedSisters is going to happen, it will be the Wizard’s kid. That makes more sense given that this is the OZ storyline. I really don’t think Rumple had a child with Cora. (I’ll leave aside the debate about if they were lovers or not cause not one ever agrees with each other)

Besides feeling a bit retconn-y to me, the tword also hurts my head. If she was pregnant after Regina, why didn’t anyone know? What about Henry Sr? did he not wonder why his wife was suddenly not pregnant but there was no child?

I don’t know honestly. Just thought it was an interesting comment Jane made.

But if she’s born green, I could see Cora going, ‘Ew? A green daughter. She can’t be Queen.” and probably discard her in favor of Regina.

I could see that too. But unless Henry Sr was really and truly under her control from the beginning, how did she spirit the child away to Oz (like I assume she did) without him knowing? Did she fake the child’s death?

Cora could have totally done that too. Or try to kill her. The Sultan did it.

    Hmmmm

maybe Cora took her out into the woods as a babe to get rid of her where she was rescued by the Wizard and raised as his daughter?

So again… I ask… Who has seen Wicked 😛 this reminds me of the part where the show the witch being born and her [unbiological] Father’s reaction *singing* “Like a groggy fern-y cabbage! The baby is unnaturally….GREEEN!!! Take it away! Take. It. Away!”
