Liked:
– Seeing Regina happy.
– Regina breaking the curse with Henry, it’s good to know that true love between family isn’t exclusive to the Charmings.
– The Henry and Emma moment. It was so season 1 in reverse.
– Neal being a hero, again. That man never stopped doing the right thing, even till his last breath.
Disliked:
– Snow White casting the curse. It’s just wrong and totally backwards.
– Philora turning into flying monkeys. I mean what? They had two lines and then they were gone. They had no purpose at all. Telling the Witch when Snow would arrive in the EF? Seriously? You have spying monkeys tagging Hook and his adventures with Ariel and you have one in New York with Emma and but you can’t send a couple of them to look out for Snow’s arrival? You absolutely have to use Aurora and Philip for that?
One the fence:
– Snow sharing a heart with Charming. Yes it is plot devicey and it’s gonna bite the creators in the butt in the future, but at the same time, I’m too much of a romantic to care. Though, mark my words, from now on whenever someone dies, people will be asking why X can’t save Y with half a heart.

the Henry and REgina moments Regina is the curse breaker!!!!!!!!!
disliked
Glinda: is she as shady as blue?
Snow White and Prince Charming share a heart? seriously?
when Regina calls something a bad idea you are supposed ot listen and take her advice, not beg her to rip out your heart.

Emma telling Henry that he will do as he is told because she’s his mother and knows best- That was what needed to be said to season 2 Henry.
Belle and Rumple- These two are great apart and fantastic together- Their small hand hold scene was preferable to OQ’s smoochathon.
Regina’s sassy comments- Regina gets some of the best lines on this show, especially about the ice cream being smitten with Snow’s stomach.
Neal sending the message- The man was a hero to the end.
Hook shooting the flying monkeys- That was a fun scene.
Disliked
Splitting the heart- Very plot devicey and a bit of a cop out. As much as I would’ve hated to see Charming go, his death would have been a perfect example of bold storytelling.
Hook offering to help Henry run away- That was very wrong of Hook. He may have done it with the intention of saving Henry, however the fact he didn’t even consult Emma about it meaning Henry would’ve just disappeared on her (especially with Zelena running around, that’s every parents worse nightmare) and the fact Hook was sending Henry with Smee so Hook wouldn’t have even been there to guarantee Henry’s safety, I think Emma was justified in not trusting Hook from that point forward.
Snowing jumping on the bandwagon of not trusting Hook- Emma had a good reason, Snowing didn’t. Hook thought it was them that sent the message because it was attached to a bird, Charming even admitted that sounds like something Snow would do, Snowing not trusting Hook just because they didn’t send the message makes them look judgemental.
Charming killing the monkey with his sword- why did the monkey he fought in Quiet Minds not burst into flame?
The body switching CGI- It’s horrible.

– Henry getting his memories back
– Regina breaking the curse
– Rumple’s rhymes
– Neal sending the potionDisliked:
-Snow killing David. (She’d find a different way! If she was really desperate enough to do this, it wasn’t properly shown to us).
– Belle being used as a story-exposition device. (Not just this episode). Half the time when she comes into a scene it’s to explain to everyone else what’s going on. Now I know she does research, but it’s getting a bit much.Edit: oh right, the body switching CGI. (Thanks Priceofmagic). That also goes on the dislike list.

Rumple’s riddle – because it’s not just about finding Glinda, especially the part with the “circle of time”
Emma being a parent and telling Henry what to do – In S1 & 2, she was more like a friend.
“Where you come from, people bath in rivers and use pine cones for money”
Henry asking for Emma’s keys and trying to steal the yellow bug – SF family <3
Zelena exposing Hook's "mission"
Neal sending the potion - however, something in this scene bugged me : Neal managed to separate his body from his father's by himself, but in 315 he asked Emma to do it.
Disliked
The book appearing just like that – I know it is how the book appeared for the first time, but the whole scene was a bit muddled.
Snow deciding to cast the curse – because she’s like “we need to cast the curse” and then “no, we always find another way” and eventually she crushes Charming’s heart.
Hook keeping the truth from Emma – he tried to change the subject when Emma asked about that “mission”.
The splitting the heart thing – it’s official, there’s no more “dead is dead” rule.
The scene showing Neal’s grave – it hurt.
And last but not least, the most OOC moment award goes to….Regina ! For that line :
I never liked pets.
Just one thing to say : Rossinante.

May 2, 2014 at 9:35 am #265463obisgirlParticipantI have two favorite moments.
1 – Snow and Charmings goodbye before Snow crushed his heart. That was very beautiful and did anyone notice the background music was from the winter finale? I liked that and seeing Regina’s reaction to their goodbye. Like I think Regina started to appreciate true love again.
2- when Snow pleaded with Regina to split her heart and save Charming. Very powerful scene. It spoke to the growing trust between them, the worry in Regina that Snow might die. But Snow has complete faith in her that she can do it and it will save Charming.
least favorite was the actual heart splitting. I’ll be honest when I watched with my boyfriend we both laughed and continued to poke fun of it during commercials.
It reminded me of twisting Oreo cookies and the heart was evenly split too which was silly. There were no seams on protruding edges; everything was perfect.
Another favorite moment was Regina’s true love kiss was Henry.
