I definitely think Peter Pan is going to try and lure Henry into a false sense of security. I am expecting to see a scene at the end of 301 where Felix and the “escapee” meet up and it is revealed PP is the “escapee” and he tells Felix well done because Henry truly believes PP is his friend.

September 7, 2013 at 11:03 am #208575SlurpeezParticipantNow that I have a moment, I can finally digest this synopsis in more detail.
As Emma, Mary Margaret, David, Regina, Mr. Gold and Hook enter Neverland to search for a kidnapped Henry, they’re greeted by a school of not-to-friendly mermaids who threaten to end their search before it begins.
Sounds like the not-too-friendly mermaids are what potentially cause Emma to nearly drown. Perhaps an entire school of them rock the boat so that she falls overboard. That is when Daddy Charming jumps in after her to save the day and pull her back on the ship.
Henry finds himself on the run from the Lost Boys with another escapee from Peter Pan’s encampment;
Sounds like the Lost Boys meet GOAT and Henry as soon as they reach NL. Henry either escapes or the Lost Boys let him go for the sport of it; perhaps PP is the run-away boy who helps Henry escape, only to gain his trust. Perhaps the Lost Boys then take GOAT captive rather than just outright kill them, since as I previously wrote, I think Tamara’s backstory will be revealed in “Lost Girl” which will reveal she is the long-lost daughter of Robin Hood and Marian.
and Neal, recovering from his wounds, travels through the Enchanted Forest with Mulan in an attempt to learn the fates of Emma and Henry.
We know that Neal survives, perhaps as a result of the healing powers of Lake Nostos. He probably doesn’t even suspect that anything is awry with Henry and Emma until Princess Aurora has a nightmare and communicates with David and/or Henry directly. Seeking to find out more, Neal then has to sojurn somewhere with Mulan in an attempt to learn more. But why not just ask Aurora to find out more on his behalf through her visits to the dream world? Where do Mulan and Neal have to go to find out more? Why don’t Philip and Aurora go with them? Maybe Mulan offers to go alone with Neal so as to give some Aurora and Philip some much needed alone time so they can “make tacos” if you catch my drift. Also, since Philip has true love with Aurora, Mulan might realize it’s time to move on and maybe wants to see what chance she may have with Neal. I kid, of course, but you never know with Once. 🙂

September 7, 2013 at 11:47 am #208579kfchimeraParticipantYou do never know, but for some reason they did spoil Neal/Mulan is not an intentional thing when it came up at ComicCon and in some twitter follow-up. I’m not sure if there’s a plot reason for them to split up this way, or was it just the blurb’s wording that implied it by leaving out Phillip and Aurora. If it is plot-driven, then my guess is that they have to journey somewhere dangerous, and Aurora and Phillip will stay behind so she can try to reach Henry/Snow/Charming in a dream (after suitable bravery from Aurora about the burn risk and concern from Phillip and Mulan).
Aurora will then reach Henry because he’s most likely to suffer nightmares given his situation, and he’ll find out Neal is alive (yay) but AUrora won’t be able to tell him that Henry is in NL (boo) and he’s going the wrong way. Drama, tension! Can they catch up and send a message somehow to Neal/Mulan?
At least that is what I’m thinking now. I’m sure Phil and AUrora deserve taco time too though, in their case, maybe he’s helping his beauty “sleep”.

September 7, 2013 at 12:02 pm #208582RumplesGirlKeymasterHonestly, I think Mulan might be happy enough to be the constant third wheel of MAP. She and Aurora got pretty close and if they went off together on an adventure to find Philip, I’m betting their bond is even stronger. I don’t see Mulan suddenly wanting romance; I think her role this season (very brief role at that) is to help Neal heal and then get him back where he belongs.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"September 7, 2013 at 12:13 pm #208585SlurpeezParticipantMaybe Neal and Mulan will travel to find some more magical poppies, which will help Aurora to return to the Netherworld. Like Snow, Aurora might have grown adept at blocking the nightmares so that Aurora will need to be put in a deep, magically-induced sleep to return to the Netherworld.

September 7, 2013 at 12:15 pm #208586JosephineParticipantThe first thing I thought when reading the summary of is “Oh, crap, there goes the FireWarrior shippers.” My second was, “They get to meet Ariel’s sisters!” 🙂
Some people are so entrenched in Mulan/Shang. I’ve never seen Mulan. Is he that great of a character?
On a tangent…I have seen almost every Disney movie ever made, both animated and live action. I have no idea how Mulan slipped out of my clutches.

The Disney version of “Mulan” is worthwhile, and I recommend it. I think the cartoon character is more likable than the Mulan portrayed on OUAT.

Crackpot tangent…
In the WL section yesterday, some of us were discussing some BTS pics of characters that we concluded were potentially Merry Men. Will (the Knave) was on set, dressed in his leather jacket, which means the scene was present day. So it looks like perhaps the Merry Men are still in FTL in present day. If so, could they be who Neal and Mulan are going to see? Could there be someone there who has some sort of magical knowledge, and perhaps helped them get back Philip’s soul, so they’re gonna go and see if they can help Neal out as well? Maybe Onceiverse Friar Tuck is more of a magic man as opposed to a religious man, and he has some special insight or knowledge that could help? -
