and Neal, recovering from his wounds, travels through the Enchanted Forest with Mulan in an attempt to learn the fates of Emma and Henry.
Crackpot tangent…
In the WL section yesterday, some of us were discussing some BTS pics of characters that we concluded were potentially Merry Men. Will (the Knave) was on set, dressed in his leather jacket, which means the scene was present day. So it looks like perhaps the Merry Men are still in FTL in present day. If so, could they be who Neal and Mulan are going to see? Could there be someone there who has some sort of magical knowledge, and perhaps helped them get back Philip’s soul, so they’re gonna go and see if they can help Neal out as well? Maybe Onceiverse Friar Tuck is more of a magic man as opposed to a religious man, and he has some special insight or knowledge that could help?I love crackpot tangent time.
That’s possible. And just because the Merry Men are in FTL doesn’t mean RH is, which would fit with the spoilers we have about him and Belle in SB an alliance. But again, is it too much crossover? They keep saying you don’t have to watch WL to watch OUAT and vice versa.

In WL past, they could be used to explain Will’s history. In WL present, he can go back to them for help, and Robin just isn’t there, he’s “lost”, or even, “taken by the Curse that destroyed this land,” then Will can pause for a moment of, “Damn, he was in SB too,” (we already know we’re being introduced to Will by seeing him in SB), and they could leave it at that. It’s enough of an explanation for the story they’re telling on WL, but maybe it’ll entice some WL only people to peek at the parent show as well, to see what happened to Robin.
If Robin’s gonna be in SB, they can still use the MM for his flashbacks, Will may or may not be there for it, depending on what part of the t-word he spent in WL where he became the Knave and met Alice, but even if he’s not there, his absence doesn’t need to be explained on OUAT, because it’s not really relevant to OUAT storyline.
Something they’d have to cover on both shows would be how the MM survived the Curse if they’re still in FTL in present day, while Robin was taken by it. If you watch both shows, you just get the explanation twice, if you only watch one show, you get the explanation once.

There were WL BTS pics that looked like they might be the Merry Men, and Alice and the Knave were with them, and he was dressed in present day clothing. Slurpeez found an article that said Robin would be in both shows. I tweeted Adam to check and he said it was true. We know the Knave’s history will be tied to FTL. So we ended up at Will the Knave being Will Scarlet.
