Phee, you were nearly right. The newest promo gives a glimpse of a giant kraken-like creature! So, they still might be trying to get squid ink. I love your idea that squid ink might be a way to treat dreamshade (which does look black and inky).
OMG KRAKEN?! OK, so just the half second shot of that thing gives me the creeps, which means that even if my little theory is partially correct, I’m gonna be creeped out watching it be right, so it’ll be WIN wrapped in FAIL. 😛
Except these two (Rumble & Neal) don’t even know that David is sick. Maybe they ride the animal to a cave under the sea or some place else.
The squid ink may well be powerful stuff and have more than one use, and so Rumple and Neal might want some for another purpose, but if it turns out it can also heal Charming, that’s a bonus.

Maybe that thing is Ursula. It seems very spideresque so I hope Rumple and Neal kill it quickly. There was a twitter picture of Eric with a mini octopus, perhaps that thing is the mommy.

That’s a really good idea! Rumple has sorta used magic hasn’t he, in cutting off his shadow? And yet PP didn’t come to him or send lost boys after him. (also…daaaaaaaw)
