ParticipantWhat if young hook is a baby, and Pirates come and kill Liam and then they find his son? We didn’t see casting sides when they did young baby bae did we?
Could be!
Or if they plan to show him in his late teens I’d imagine they’ll just use Colin. Shave, wig, scrap the eye makeup, dress him in lighter colours (or maybe a Navy uniform if he’s serving on his father’s ship) and turn him into a younger version of himself. The only indication Hook gave of his age in his speech to Bae was, “When I was a boy,” which could really mean anything up to 20.

ParticipantI think GOAT will be ambushed by PP, and PP will “save” Henry.
I think they will do teen hook with Colin playing him, but it will be in a scene with the pirates, after his family is dead. They are not, but Hook is led to believe it.
But I would like it if instead of sob story bad dad , we get a story where young Hook chose to be a pirate, perhaps selling out a harsh captain who was just trying to keep order. I doubt they will go this route:
http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/Captain_HookMuch of Hook’s past hadn’t been revealed until Jake and the Never Land Pirates, where it is revealed that the captain had a rather miserable childhood. As a young buccaneer, he was trained in the ways of a pirate by his mother, Mama Hook, so that he would one day become a feared captain, much like her. However, according to Mama Hook, Captain Hook was a somewhat pitiful pirate during his training, and seemed hopeless for many years. It was also revealed that he was heavily ostracized by others as a child, as he explains to Mr. Smee several times throughout the series, resulting in him spending most of his childhood hated and alone. These are all prime factors in the reasons for Captain Hook’s undeniable cruelty. It also makes Captain Hook one of the most tragic Disney villains.
“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass

Ah, I really like that idea!
With Liam, could “well-liked and respected by his crew” be in there to throw us off? Because I’m formulating a new idea that involves a touch of mutiny, so I need that bit to be a fake out. 😛
I’m thinking, 17/18 year old Killian has just completed his military training and has joined the crew of the ship that’s captained by his father. One night, some mutinous crew members kill the Captain and toss him overboard. The next day, they tell Killian some story about how his father was a wanted man and he fled in the night, (they’ll have set one of the rowboats adrift during the night as proof). The guys who killed the Captain will be working with pirates, who attack once Captain Liam is out of the way. Killian is taken prisoner, and eventually comes to be a pirate, and then Captain, Dread Pirate Roberts style.
If his father goes overboard, assumed dead, but maybe he’s not really dead, just mostly, that could still leave room for him to have been saved in some dark magic way that turned him into Davy Jones.

Interesting theory. I like it.

ParticipantHere are a couple of things I have come up with:
-Devin could be their version of Rufio. Wants to be in charge, so will help JR6 crew and befriend Henry to help him defeat PP. I can see him dying at the end by PP. If it mocks Hook then he would be killed by our very own Hook.
-Liam was Hook’s real father, however, Killian was given to the pirates. His father could have sacrificed his own life for his son but took the cowards way out. Instead of killing Killian the captain of the ship took him under his wing. I picture Killian and Liam like the movie Master and Commander movie.

SpectatorI hope they cast a boy that is close to that age of 14, instead of another man like Felix. 🙁

ParticipantI would imagine they would cast a fairly young person especially if the character is going to interact with Henry. Henry would feel closer to someone near his age rather than Felix age.

ParticipantSasha: Any Once Upon a Time spoilers?
We’ll meet another one of Peter Pan’s Lost Boys In episode 5: Devin, who has been in Neverland a long time and is extremely loyal to season 3’s new big bad, but is competitive with his fellow boys as he’s often overlooked. Green never looks good on anyone, Devin!August 19, 2013 at 10:45 am #205657Slurpeez

Green never looks good on anyone, Devin! This pretty much confirms that “Devin” is indeed currently a Lost Boy in present-day NL. Even though he’s loyal to PP, perhaps he’s even a contender to become the next ‘Pan,’ if the opportunity were to present itself.

SpectatorHmmm, they say lost boys and that Felix guy is a man they need to change it to the lost ones because Felix certainly isn’t a lost boy. What if this PP twin brother?
