Is it just me, or does it look like ReGursla is UNDER WATER in the promo? Look at the way the water moves in the back. I thought it was waves but now im not sure, even her tentacles look like they are swimming. That part could be the first time she meets Ariel, I mean she is saying Hello.

Present Day
–Regina leaves the JR5 to go in search of something she thinks might help them. She has rope with her in the promo as if she wants to capture something.
–Regina runs into Rumple who is talking to Vision!Belle and sees the Vision for what it really is, the shadow in disguise. Regina gets rid of Vision Belle. Rumple and Regina work together for whatever Regina is after. Rumple tells Regina that Nealfire is alive.
–Back the JR5 camp, Emma, Snow, Charming, and Hook continue to try and make up a plan to get Henry using Tink’s help who shed some light on her own past with PP.
–Neal has a lot of conversations with the other person in the box but is eventually released by PP to go find his family because PP likes to play head games
–Regina returns to the camp with some sort of object and informs Emma that Neal is alive, just as Hook was about to do the same.
–The episode ends with Neal finding the JR5
Fairy Tale Land of the Past
–Regina is once again after Snow and decides to use an old friend, Ursula, to do it.
–Somehow Snow is thrown off a cliff (??) and lands in the water where she is rescued by Ariel who tells Snow about her true love, Eric and how they are currently in a fight over something that happened at a ball.
–Regina, upset that Snow is still alive, asks Ursula for a favor (because Rumple won’t help her after Skin Deep). Ursula disguises herself as Regina and goes to Ariel with a bargain: if you kill Snow, I’ll make you a human forever to be with your one true love, Eric.
–Ariel won’t do it and Ursula banishes her to NL. Ariel has been in NL ever since but was taken to SB when the JR came through the portal.

It could be that in previous episodes Rumple really did conjure up his own vision of Belle, but in 3×6 the Shadow is impersonating Belle.

Crack Theory: Rumple’s father is in the basket next to Neal. Maybe Rumple’s father didn’t abandon his son, maybe he was kidnapped by Pan (for moving on to another son, if Rumple is Pan’s brother) and he kidnapped his own father to get back at him and his younger brother.
Yes!!!! My husband and I were discussing this very theory last night! Wow. How much more twisted would that make Pan? Rumple thinking this entire time his father abandoned him… for over 300 years… wow…
I really like the Belle theory as well!! As RG has stated, maybe the pics of Ariel meeting Belle in SB indicate that Ariel will show her a way to NL and it all takes place during ep 1? We know there is a disturbance based on the pics, her face when they come out of Gold’s shop…Not sure how it all works together but it could work!
Here are my top 3 wishes:

Another thought:
If it’s Vision Belle and not real Belle…perhaps Pan tells them he will only let one of them go and they have to choose? Or even more horrible, it IS real Belle and Papa will have to choose OH MY GOSHHHHH please noooo…Keeper Nealfire's/Bae's scarf, Henry and Neal's bribery ice cream sundae, Baelfire's sword, the coconut map, and more.
Who is Ariel swimming with in the promo? Are we making the assumption it is Snow because they were in the water together right before that? Or could it possibly be Eric?
Another thought:
If it’s Vision Belle and not real Belle…perhaps Pan tells them he will only let one of them go and they have to choose? Or even more horrible, it IS real Belle and Papa will have to choose OH MY GOSHHHHH please noooo…Ah, please not Sophie’s choice! I really don’t think it could be Belle given that she’s in SB with Ariel but you never quite know what PP has up his sleeves. Somehow I can see Adam and Eddy giving an evil cackle as they write these arcs.

Has she been helping him? Maybe just making him weaker? Taking away his focus? It could be part of the head game Pan plays.

WendyI kinda hope it is Rumple Sr. in the other box, so that Rumple will know that his father didn’t abandon him at all and they are reunited, and he can have a life with his son and grandsons (Neal and Henry). That would be really twisted for Pan to do that to Rumple. If the theory is right about Pan and Rumple being brothers, it would make sense that Pan would kidnap his own father out of jealousy because his father moved on to another child.
