According to Keck’s episode 306 will be titled Ariel and will be the first to feature Ariel. Let’s remember that until Adam confirms, we don’t honestly know.
Once Upon a Time’s sixth episode of the new season will be titled “Ariel” and introduces Reba fave JoAnna Garcia as the finned Disney princess from under the sea. Besides Reba, Garcia recently appeared on Royal Pains and last season’s short-lived NBC sitcom Animal Practice.
Producers promise a compelling back-story and twist for their Little Mermaid, while retaining the beloved character’s “wide-eyed” charm and ambitions we came to know in Disney’s 1989 animated classic. And as is the norm with Once characters, she’ll most likely have ties to a character we know.
Could Ariel’s witchy octopus nemesis Ursula the sea witch be far behind? “Ursula could appear this season, absolutely,” teases executive producer Eddy Kitsis. “But on our show you never know what that might mean.”

I pictured her coming into OUAT around episode 6 or 7 but no centric until the second half. I know Keck is generally pretty good with this, but Adam hasn’t said anything.

If it were anyone else reporting the info, I’d probably be more wary. That mess with the article about Regina and Robin is so recent, that I’d think he’d make doubly sure he wasn’t saying anything he couldn’t in this article. Hopefully Adam will confirm or deny ASAP.

An ABC rep confirms for TVLine that the Reba/Privileged alum will play the mermaid with moxie in at least two episodes, starting with the sixth installment of Season 3
Looks like only 2 episodes that she will be in.

I hope Ursula is a character by herself and not Regina or Rumpelstiltskin. I love those two to death but Ursula is just waaaay too good to not have her tentacles up on screen…..
Plus she’d have a nice backstory. In a deleted scene of the Disney version, it was revealed Ursula was King Triton’s sister and once Queen of The Sea but Triton banished her for using black magic and she vowed for revenge. I’m sure OUAT could use that!

I think the at least means she’ll start out with two episodes but become more central in the latter half of the season
