New theory: Rumpel and Regina are BOTH Ursula. For the past 300 years, rumpel has been changing merfolk into humans in exchange for squid ink. He has stopped for whatever reason and Regina plays on that to impersonate Ursula and get Ariel.. To do whatever it is she is trying to get her to do >> sounded better in my head

Is Ariel speaking about Prince Eric here? Has she yet to meet him?
To me it doesn’t sound like, “I”, it sounds like “you”. “You thought you brought us together, but we both know that’s a lie. So, tell me, between girlfriends, what do I do?”
I think this may come after the ball. In the promo, it seemed that Regina was watching the ball through her mirror, seemed like one shot that swept around from Eric in the mirror, to Regina looking pissed. The other bit of that scene in the promo shows her saying, “I’ve got a new idea.”
Ariel’s, “between girlfriends” sounds like this is their second meeting.
So, I think they met before the ball, and Ursula told her to go get the Prince. Then the ball happens, but doesn’t go according to plan. So Ariel goes to ask Ursula what she’s supposed to do now.
I thought Ariel was speaking as if she were disillusioned, thinking the Godess Ursula brought her and Eric together, maybe when she saves him from drowning? Then she is upset because she has to go back to the sea? I think it is before the ball, before she meets Snow or Eric.
