Oh PP is totally Rumple’s brother. Mmmhm. I have no doubts now.
Oh! What if Rumple’s dad, Colin, is Hook’s (Colin O’Donoghue’s) dad, too?
Does the cut scene from “Manhattan” of little Rumple seeing his dad killed still count as canon? The story that Hook told Bae about his dad having abandoned him might still tie into Rumple’s dad having left him, but only if Rumple’s dad didn’t die before his eyes.

I don’t think so, if it wasn’t on the DVD it’s not canon. At least that’s what it seems like.
I don’t know if I can get behind Hook and Rumple being brothers.
Poor Rumple. What’s the odds his dad is a nasty piece of work who made Rumple feel worthless and unloved?
All magic comes with a price!
Keeper of FelixThe way that Rumple’s dad is described makes him sound a bit like a pirate:

True, and sadly, Rumple tried so hard to be a good papa to Bae, and not to repeat his father’s mistakes, swearing the would be there for his boy. And yet, sadly, Rumple inevitably did when he became the Dark One. Now it’s up to Neal to break the cycle of bad parenting with Henry.

Well, if it turns out I’m wrong about Rumple not having been a lost boy or some relation to Peter, I will bow to those who were right! lol. But we shall see…

You know that’s exactly how it will play.
Season Three: In which A and E kill all the Dearies with feels.
Season 3: In which Rumple starts collecting hugs to save for “a rainy day” whilst he currently stands in a torrential downpour.
