Thanks.  I think that Emma knows Milan was rumple’s Wife.  I think iI was clear in the name of the brother.  David definitely knows.    Whether she knows milah is neal’s mom is an open issue.  I doubt they’ll get into that, especially since rumple would not want to exposé how he murdered milah to anyone esp Neal.  Very bad form on rumple’s part.

I think rumple took hook’s sword to mess with hook and he is not about to mess with charming, Emma or Neal.

I hope they do get into it, because trying to woo Emma without her knowing the full truth of who he is is bad form on Hook’s part. If he does honestly intend to win Emma’s heart without any “trickery” then she should know who he is, otherwise she’s not falling for his true self. The fact that Neal’s mother left him to be with Hook, and more importantly the fact that Hook handed Neal over to Pan as a boy are both things that Emma should know if she’s ultimately able to make an informed decision about who she wants to be with. If CS got together without her knowing, it’s not like that truth wouldn’t come out at some point in their lives, (even if she didn’t get back with Neal, and got with Hook instead, Neal would still be in both of their lives, because he’d be in Henry’s life, so Hook and Neal would need to air out and resolve their relationship, so Emma would find out all the gory details of their history at some point), and if he’s kept it from her, she’d be justifiably pissed, just like Snow was pissed at Charming for having kept things from her.

As for Rumple not wanting to reveal that he killed Milah, if he senses there’s something going on between Hook and Emma, I believe he’d have no qualms about revealing all to everyone. Rumple lost the woman he loved to Hook, and if he saw that there was a chance that the exact same thing could happen to his son, I believe that Rumple would reveal any and all things that could bring Hook’s character into question, with no regard for his own. He already believes that Neal believes him to be a lost cause, so revealing having killed his mother wouldn’t risk losing any good favour with his son, because he thinks there’s none left to lose. And if revealing that information might make Emma think twice about choosing Hook, then that would be a positive in Rumple’s eyes.

• Henry will die if he gives his heart to Pan but Pan cannot be immortal without Henry’s heart… Sounds like a “Neither can live while the other survives” nod *claps*
• In some ways I do believe Emma should know that the man that is trying to win her over from Neal also won over Neal’s mother and admittedly ruined his life. HOWEVER. We all have baggage.  And though the baggage of Miliah should probably be exposed, it is hard to say that all of the past about Hook turning in Bae is 100% necessary to go into. The man has a rocky past – Emma can see that from the time she spend with him in Storybrooke during Season 2. He doesnt make the best decisions, she has seen that. What matters now is that he is becoming a better person than he was then.  He is becoming the honorable man again that he once was. That is the important part.  Perhaps my shipper goggles are getting in the way, but i feel they all have rocky pasts and can only look at the person they have become to really judge.

• Although the wave of magic does look like the one we have seen for TLK in previous episodes, it also was very similar to the same magic we saw spread over Storybrooke in the last episode after the ship went through the portal. So I am not sure it is TLK in this episode.

In summary… is it Sunday yet?

We had a mention of Ursula as a Goddess., that no one believed in anymore much. That sounds familiar with Pan too–wondering what the story is here but I do think there’s a connection with wanting to be immortal, to be believed in and have followers. Curious to see where they go with it all.

This makes me think of Terry Pratchett’s Discworld and the “Small Gods” – in short…

• Gods on the Discworld are believed into existence, i.e. they are anthromorphic representations of things people want to believe in (The Lady is luck, Fate is fate, etc)
• When people stop believing in the god, truly believing, then the god loses its stature and power, eventually becoming a small god – a whisper on the wind
• Small gods can be “rebuilt” into ‘real’ Gods with belief
