I don’t think Snow or Charming will end up killing Medusa. I’m thinking something goes wrong and they not only end up with EQ as an enemy but Medusa as well. Rebecca Mader is supposed to be playing the villain for the second half of the season, it would make sense if it were as Medusa. This episode could be an introduction to the character setting up for following episodes.

I’ve seen that theory around a few places now but I think given this spoiler, Medusa is unlikely to be Mader’s character.

This venture to cut off Medusa’s head is totally out of character for Snow. That just struck me as a really strangely casual conversation about killing one person and turning another to stone.

I agree. It doesn’t feel like Snow. And it doesn’t feel like Snow when the plan is half baked. This is why I’m suggesting that the last scene of the flashback will be Snow finding out she’s pregnant and her hormones and fear about being a new mom are messing with her “let’s sit and plan this out” ability.

I guess we have to wait to see what she knows about it but even Belle & Mulan were out to kill the Yagoi, not realizing it was not a creature but a cursed man. I think if Snow realized she was dealing with a sentient creature capable of peaceful co-existence she might think differently than a mythical monster that hurts those unfortunate enough to get near and has no reasoning skills.
