Good theory, tabsicle.
Don’t remember what thread it was in, but yesterday I posted somewhere about how perhaps they could use the crystal ball in Rumple’s castle to find out where Emma ended up. Surely that thing will come back into play.
Perhaps WWW gets the crystal ball back, (assuming it was hers in the first place, but we know that Jefferson brought it back from Oz) and rigs it as a torture device of some sort for Regina, where she’s forced to watch Henry living without her, and making Regina watch that happen from such close proximity as SB would be an even sweeter punishment, so WWW takes them all back there.
Maybe we could even expand this idea and have it play into WWW’s past. Perhaps she used to use that crystal ball to watch her own family, which I’m guessing is probably Regina’s family, back in FTL, living their lives without her, while she was stuck in Oz. So now she’s turning the tables on Regina.
I think it’s a really solid theory that Neal is on the gurney. Have seen it suggested elsewhere that perhaps he gets injured in the process of them coming back to SB, but I prefer your idea, tabsicle, that he tries to get out of town to go to Emma and Henry and something bad happens.
I’d like it if Neal is the one who tells Hook to go and find her, because it could mean we’re gonna get some CaptainFire friendship progress. And considering Emma ends up in Neal’s apartment with the dreamcatcher, he’s gotta get that address somehow. Guess they could gloss over that and just have him know it because he’s been there before, but it’d be more believable if Neal told him the actual address.
On the other hand, if they wanna go for maximum angst, they could have Neal injured so badly that he’s actually unconscious.
Maybe it’s not just the one person on the gurney who ends up in hospital, maybe members of Emma’s family start dropping like flies for some reason, and that’s why Hook tells her they’re in trouble.
Getting back to Regina for a minute, if Emma and Henry do end up back in SB, would Regina still have to stay away from him? Would there be some magical barrier thing, like the town line, where if you got too close, bad things happen? A situation like that could explain Regina seemingly being angry and throwing stuff in that scene with Emma in her office.

I wonder if this third curse from the WWW actually makes the conditions of the old curse void, meaning Regina can see Henry again.

Yeah, they could take it either way. Having the previous Curse conditions still in effect makes the characters suffer more though, and they love to make their characters suffer.

I think that’s possible but I also wonder if the Henry condition will be left unresolved for a while. I’m convinced Regina is throwing something in that part of the promo because she can’t see Henry.

Not gonna lie…I wept so hard at this scene! Lana Parrilla, JMo, and Ginny just completely stole it and hit it out of the ballpark! So glad to see interaction between just Regina, Emma, and Snow! It was wonderful, and the family feels! A grandmother, and her stepdaughter, and her grandstep-daughter! The feels!

Regina’s storyline in this ep was wonderful. The way she finally accepted Emma, accepted the price for her wrongdoings, and gave Emma and Henry their new life together. Crazy amount of character development for her. Loved it.

Won’t someone think of the peasants?!?! Maybe that’s why Red isn’t at the town line, she’s off informing everyone. 😛 (Seriously though, her absence was kinda glaring in this ep. Sucks they couldn’t get her back for it.)

Yeah, they could have gotten a body double to stand with her back to the camera in a red jacket or something. (Though I know there would be outrage at not having Meghan. Lose lose situation)
It’s just odd that in the promo the heroes and their friends–dwarves, Archie maybe–end up all together but the peasants aren’t anywhere to be seen. Yet in the Town Hall meeting portion of the promo, the entire town, peasants included, seem to be back together.
Poor Peasants. They must literally bend to the whim of the main cast.

I’m surprised that there wasn’t a mass panic of peasants trying to rush the town borders trying to escape the big green cloud of smoke. Or at this point with all the stuff they’ve lived through, do you think they just bunker down in their storm cellars and wait for the end?
Also, random thought: it’s not entirely clear, but assuming that the SB gang reappears directly in front of Phillip and Aurora, what do you think their first reaction would be? Most of that group are strangers, but there would be the familiar faces (to Aurora) of Snow and Neal (whom she just saw maybe a week ago?), but the last time she saw Hook he was besties with Cora and had physically removed her heart and was using her as walkie-talkie for evil. If I were her I’d tell Phillip to stab the hell out of him.
