KeymasterI’m surprised that there wasn’t a mass panic of peasants trying to rush the town borders trying to escape the big green cloud of smoke. Or at this point with all the stuff they’ve lived through, do you think they just bunker down in their storm cellars and wait for the end?
LOL. On my second rewatch I noticed that during the scene right after Rumple’s sacrifice and before Regina tells them all what the price is to cast the counter curse, there is a car driving down the road. Just a random car, casually driving along like it’s an ordinary Sunday afternoon. Part of me hopes the driver saw all the heroes gathered together and just was like “OH GOD. WHAT NOW!?”
Also, random thought: it’s not entirely clear, but assuming that the SB gang reappears directly in front of Phillip and Aurora, what do you think their first reaction would be? Most of that group are strangers, but there would be the familiar faces (to Aurora) of Snow and Neal (whom she just saw maybe a week ago?), but the last time she saw Hook he was besties with Cora and had physically removed her heart and was using her as walkie-talkie for evil. If I were her I’d tell Phillip to stab the hell out of him.
Let’s see: it has been maybe 4 or 5 days since Philora saw Neal and maybe…2 months at most since they saw Snow and Hook.
I imagine Snow and Aurora will have a nice reunion. Hook did take out Aurora’s heart but then he also gave it back to Mulan so I can see the Philip/Hook meeting going very badly OR being very neutral.

Kind of backs up Happy’s point from 3×07. When Snowing et al are gone everything is awesome. Moment they come back to town, BAM! Disaster, and we’re all going to die. As nice people as they are, being friends with them is seriously dangerous. It’s like there’s another curse on them that no one has ever figured out (and thus never broken). “May you live in interesting times.” You want your happy ending, move as far away from our heroes as physically possible. Maybe Bhutan?

Well, August tried Phuket and even that wasn’t far enough to escape the impending doom. Maybe try the moon? That might almost be far enough. 😛

I have to agree with Happy that it was kind of nice for the town not having Snow and Charming around. Being friends with them is sort of like asking for trouble. Maybe everyone in SB really would’ve been better off just crossing the town line and having their memories wiped. Yet, David had to convince them to stay in “We Are Both.” If they hadn’t listened to him, then they, like everyone else would’ve escaped this new curse and just been leading normal lives in NYC or Boston like Emma and Henry currently are.

Nah. You know Regina would find some sort of mythical moon dragon and cause problems cause the Queen of the Moon is her second cousin twice removed on her grandmothers side.

HAHAHHAHAH RG!! And Zeus is going to be Regina’s grandfather because Henry Sr. was a demi god…whose father Xavier married a goddess…

Ironically crossing the townline and erasing the FTL memories wouldn’t have allowed anyone to live in Boston or NYC since the moment they cross the line, the SB personality would take over and forget why they were at the town line and would just head back home to their house in Storybrooke.
