I like that idea that SB is now in the EF rather than in our world
[adrotate group="5"]December 17, 2013 at 11:36 am #231725kfchimeraParticipantAnything is possible at this point! In fact I like the idea of HOUSES landing in the EF, and somehow that is triggering the WWw as in Oz original it is a house that lands on the WWe that kills her.

December 17, 2013 at 11:41 am #231726PheeParticipantwell here is a totally random thought. What if they aren’t in SB but SB came to them?
You know I’ve been a fan of SB getting relocated to FTL for a while now.
They’re all in FTL clothing when they land back there though, so I dunno that the whole town would have been transported?

That’s a fun idea!

That’s actually a good point. They go back this time and are “transformed” (not the right word, but can’t think of another) into who they once were: Snow has her long hair and is wearing Snow clothes, Charming is full on Prince, Regina is in her EQ outfits, Belle is in her ballgown, the dwarves and Granny are in FTL things.
How did that happen? Is that a side effect of the New Curse?

That’s a great idea. Like Phee said, FUN

Emma was very much like Dorothy when she arrived in Storybrooke many of the characters lacked something because of the curse and she helped them to find it in the way Miss Gale did for her three companions. I’m getting the sense that the Oz theme is much deeper and has been with us from the beginning and we just haven’t picked up on it. We’ve caught the odd reference but not the big picture and with the Witch’s intro that part of the story is going to be picking up steam.

Portals are tornado-ish too. Rumple: “My gods, boy! It’s like a tornado!” I’ve always wondered if they designed them that way inspired by the tornado from Wizard of Oz.
December 17, 2013 at 5:26 pm #231825Crystal PrincessParticipantI’m thinking the real big bad won’t be the Witch, it will be Oz. They could potentially make Oz into a very cool villain. Remember the way they ask who casted the curse in the trailer? I think they’ll discover the witch’s “Wicked” motives are a lot more sympathetic and she’s actually working to undo whatever Oz is. I can see Oz being part of some group of Fairy Tale illuminati along with the Dark Fairy(and the Blue Fairy at some point). The illuminati is more good than evil initially but gets corrupted. It will be something to do with who wrote Henry’s book, where the Dark One comes from, why classic fairytale characters exist “parallel” instead of centuries ago etc.

By George ST, you’re right! Once had been very Oz like since the start! Now I’m even more pumped for March!

December 18, 2013 at 8:44 pm #232162RumplesGirlKeymaster@HappyEndings and I were talking about this a few days ago: would Archie become a Cricket again in the EF. Then I saw this on Tumblr
BEFORE
AFTER
They are all standing in the exact same locations of the before pic. LIke it literally just dropped everyone in the same spot they were standing. But Archie should be next to Belle, it’s where he was when the Curse hit. Where is he? I think he’s a cricket again.

Wow I guess the before shot moves fast I didn’t hardly see Belle etc.
