This one has Robin, and Philora, and probably Mulan too even though Jamie hasn’t tweeted about going to Vancouver yet. So with the speculation that Regina ended up in FTL, I think she’s most likely the witch in the title. Though if it’s more of a Robin centric as opposed to a Regina centric, (she’ll have already had 2 centrics by this point of the season), perhaps there’ll be flashbacks to him having dealt with another witch, (maybe an Oz witch) in the past, to parallel with him interacting with Regina in present day?
Oh I like that theory.

This was my first thought too. It honestly doesn’t feel like a Wizard of Oz title in my opinion. When we do go to Oz, I am expecting a completely obvious title like ‘Yellow Brick Road’. Everything else that fans have been excited for in the past have had a completely obvious title to let them know it was happening (‘Second Star to the Right’, ‘Straight on Til Morning’, ‘Ariel’).
Very true. Which is why I think Phee might be on to something. Regina and RH in the present day, getting to know each other as Outlaw and EvilQueen and in the past RH dealing with another Witch, say a green one. From Oz.

Or perhaps the other witch could be Maleficent coming after them after the Knave stole the looking glass in OuaTiW?

But would they have a WL tie-in like that when some (a sizable portion based on ratings) doesn’t watch WL and won’t know the WL episode in question?

Well they wouldn’t necessarily have to tell the complete story. Maybe just throw in a line or two to explain what had happened.
MALEFICENT: You took something from me. I want it back.
Robin Hood is known to steal from the wealthy after all. Only the people that watch Wonderland will know the full story, but in my mind it would still make sense for the ones that don’t watch Wonderland.

And present day could be MAP and RH having to deal with a new witch: Regina.

Regina gets transferred to the Enchanted Forest, the peasants left behind aren’t happy about it and are out for her blood. Along comes Robin Hood who saves her and we have the “meet cute” for Regal Hood. 😛

Could be. Though I dunno that she cared enough about the looking glass to actually chase after it. I think it was sorta like with Regina and the Curse, and Maleficent was all, “This thing would be dangerous in your hands, so I’m gonna keep it safe.” So her wanting the looking glass back was more because she knew that no good would come of it if some mortal was running around playing with it.

I posted this question the other day as well, but would the Wraith still be out for Regina if she ended up back in FTL? Maybe the Wraith is the one hunting a witch in present day.
November 25, 2013 at 12:45 am #226221motormouth12ParticipantRight now the title does make me think that it will be more of a flashback centric episode the only question is for who. The most likely being Regina. If they have any present day scenes in the ep i hope that emma, hook, henry and whoever else was with them will be back from NYC but i wouldn’t be surprised if they are there for a few eps.
November 25, 2013 at 7:18 am #226242SlurpeezParticipantThis title immediately brought to mind the cheesy 2012 film “Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters”. Yet, then the second thought which crossed my mind is Wicked Witch of the West from Oz. ETA: Also, this episode is written by Jane Espenson, who wrote Regina’s backstory in 3×3 and as we know, Regina was the Evil Queen. So, it’s probably Regina-centric with the introduction of RH.
