Ok, I’m gonna go out on a limb here, because I could be totally wrong.
First, in the promo we saw Emma with Neal in the forest Neal is clutching his chest, which is something Emma experienced with Grahmm. She might believe someone has taken his heart.Here, in these pics we see Emma with the Charmings, she’s holding her gun, in obvious distress. One can assume she’s in distress over possibly losing Neal AGAIN.
But also, in the Sunday promo, there is a really hard to make out shot of someone busting through the Charmings door and David is on the other side of the door armed with his sword at the ready. It’s SUPER hard to see who’s on the other side of the door, but I think it looks like Rumple.
So, I think Rumple has escaped his cell, runs through the forest to The Charmings’ home. He bangs on the door and Charming draws his sword. Rumple has no magic. He is frantic and tells that he’s been held by Zelena, and that she is the witch. Calls are made to Belle and others to barricade their homes and be on the lookout for Zelena.
It’s possible that Emma is crying here, because she can’t reach Regina and Henry, and she’s afraid for them. But note that she’s also holding her gun in that promo pic, so danger is quite near.
Later, we see Emma, David and Rumple, in the forest, being attacked by creepy monkey. I think they’ve come to the forest to search for Neal where Emma saw him last.
But Neal is no longer in the forest. He’s with Belle in Gold’s shop.
Unfortunately, though it seems Rumple may have escaped and rejoined David and Emma, we know Zelena summons the dark one back to her. And, he is with her later when she confronts Regina in the street scene.
So here’s my real crack theory.
Zelena has already taken Neal’s heart. She goes to her celler, holds Neal’s heart in her hand and tortures Rumple by squeezing his son’s heart as he is powerless to stop her.
This is what puts Rumple back into his right mind as he later breaks out of his cell in a desperate quest to save Neal.In the scene with Emma and Neal in the forest, Emma has just found Neal. They embrace and kiss. Zelena has already taken Neal’s heart, and he can feel the pressure as if it’s being squeezed. However, just as Emma kisses him, he begins to slowly regain his memories’ of the lost year, just as Graham began to remember. He remembers Zelena. And he remembers her curse.
But then he remembers something else. Something that helped him in the Enchanted Forest. Something very important that he once saw in his fathers shop. Something which holds powerful magic and knowledge.

…..and…that’s all I have. I just really want Lumiere in Storybrook as well as EF. So, I put him in Gold’s shop for Belle.
Oh no! Why does Emma look so sad and heartbroken here? I fear it may be something to do with Neal.

Just went to check that part of the promo and made some screencaps…
Those lights behind Emma’s head in the promo screencaps are the ones in the kitchen…
And Charming is down the far end of the apartment…
So they’re both busting into that room in the corner of the apartment…
…each of them coming through a different door. Didn’t see any shots of anyone else who might be in that room, but the stuff with Zelena in the apartment must come first, because the door isn’t busted in yet in that pic of her and Snow in the kitchen, and that’s the door that Emma busts through in the promo.I’m guessing that room is the bathroom? The bedroom is at the opposite end and isn’t closed off, so there’s nowhere else for the bathroom to be, and it would make sense that that’s the room that has walls. So maybe Zelena goes in there to do something nefarious without anyone seeing, and she ends up getting wet and screams or something and they think she’s in danger and bust in? Perhaps?

I am *really* surprised we didn’t get at least one shot of FTL of the past with Lumiere.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I am surprised by that too, they leaked Rapunzel everywhere. Odds are Lumiere is as plot irrelevant as Rapunzel, could be anyone but they want to work in the character.
I wonder if Z is just messing with them now, and goes into the bathroom and pretends that a pipe bursts and screams, they rush in and though she is drenched she just says it was really cold. She knows the legend says water harms her but it is wrong, water is her strength or something. So she stages that to laugh at them.
I am not sure about Emma’s concern, could be about Henry, Neal the whole situation, because this Emma is the one with memories of a good life, might be more easily moved to reveal her emotions. She is about to have a sibling and she cannot tell her son? There are crazy things going on, so any or all of it could get to her, without a specific event.

JMo did say that Emma Swan now (post happy life and no memories) is ‘softer around the edges.” She’s still Emma but she’s different than she used to because she was taken out of that life.
