I’m going to venture yes on getting a new Belle flashback, seeing as for Episode 15 the show is casting an “uppity,” “know-it-all” servant who must, repeat must, have a French accent. The character also is named “Lawrence,” which, I must observe, starts with the same letter as “Lumiere.”
By the way I never did watch the Beauty and Beast.

Lumiere knew that Belle was going to break the Beast Curse, and kept cautioning the beast to curb his temper and be nice to Belle.
I hope Lumiere is uppity, a bit humorous, and super snarky when Rumples not listening.
I was hoping to see Lumiere in present day which would give me hope that not only is Rumple alive, but that there was still potential for Belle to break whatever might be left of the dark one curse. I read somewhere that what the people turned into reflected what there jobs were so:
Lumiere was like one of those people whose name I can’t think of but in posh restaurants they take you to your table or something. They’re in charge of the dining room basically.
