Don’t know if this was posted, but this is the picture I was looking for:

I’ve seen that before and it’s a great nod to the movie but we don’t know that those objects are ACTUALLY people. They could just be props in shot that give nods to the movie.
So this casting for Lumiere isn’t a contradiction to Skin Deep because there is no way to know that the candleabra in the shot is actually a transformed human being
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"December 24, 2013 at 9:10 am #233564TheWatcherParticipantI know, I’m just hoping that Lumiere and Cogsworth were the original owners of the castle before Rumpel took it from them in a deal gone sour and rumpel bibbity-boppity-boo’fd them into candles and clocks and such

Perhaps it is Lumiere who suggests to Belle about contacting the dark one for assistance?
It would be a nice parallel if we see Belle pre-Rumple in flashback then see her reuniting with him in present day.
All magic comes with a price!
Keeper of FelixDecember 24, 2013 at 1:32 pm #233594CindersParticipantHas it already been established that Lumiere will be seen only in flashbacks? Because I would live to see Belle in present day EF cleaning Rumple’s damaged castle.
Maybe she polishes Lumiere, lights the candelabra, and poof! Lumiere speaks to her. Lumiere would most likely know the secrets contained in Rumple’s wardrobe of enchanted things.
It would be no fun having Belle in Rumple’s castle if she didn’t find out what secrets he has hidden there.

Nothing has been established so far as I know. It could be both flashback and the the lost year. I like the idea of Belle going back to the DO castle.

Goodman has become the Rumple writer lately. Since Dark Hollow was Belle centric, this makes sense. Rumple will probably have a significant role in the episode, but the focus will probably be more towards Belle. For the record, both Into the Deep and Lost Girl were very good episodes, so Kalinda can write well. The problems with Tiny and Selfless, Brave and True might have originated prior to Kalinda co-writing it. From what I understand, all of the writers come up with the general plot of each episode together during a meeting, and then the writers are assigned to write the full scripts from there.
That’s unfortunate, I think…though I LOVED Dark Hollow and thought it gave incredible insight into Belle. I just chalk that up to AC and not KV……
To be fair, I did like Into the Deep and Lost Girl………maybe I’m giving too much credit to AC and not enough to KV?

Oh, I need this so much. That’s her home……now Neal gave it to RH, but the only ones I want staying there are she and Neal, so while obviously they won’t kick RH out, I hope RH has the decency to leave and find other lodgings, lol. Poor, devastated DC – in ruins. Seeing in that way broke my heart, sigh.

Actually surprised that Chambliss isn’t co-writing.
But we’ll just have to wait and see how it stands up I guess. Tiny and SB&T are two of my least favorite episodes, but Lost Girl and the SB stuff of Dark Hollow were decent.

He also wrote The New Neverland alone, so for some reason they are being separated?
The only parts of Dark Hollow I didn’t LOVE (not that I hated them) were Snowing and the Neal/Emma /Hook stuff (but that’s on Adam and Eddy, who presumably conceived of the idea of David getting poisoned and this silly triangle). Dark Hollow was a fabulous episode for Belle and for Rumbelle…….Lost Girl was good, too, and I did love the “Rumbelle” moments.

I thought Lost Girl as a whole was pretty solid and I *adored* the Rumbelle parts. And yes..I could have done without NL triangleness in DH. Watching Belle and Ariel would have been more fun.
