In the Enchanted forest, a hooded rider on a horse gallops thru the forest. It’s Belle. She tells Regina, Aurora, Phillip and Snowing what happened to Neal. Aurora tells them that Zelena wants Snow’s baby, and Zelena flies in on her broom (preview scene). Zelena freezes everyone except Belle.
Eight months later, in the war room, Regina, Snowing, and the others discuss breaking into Rumple’s castle so they can free him. Robin and Regina flirt/banter.
In Storybrooke, at Granny’s B&B, Regina and Robin kiss… twice 😉
In Granny’s living room, Regina, Emma, David, and Mary Margaret wait for Hook. They talk about the possibility of a TLK between Emma and Henry breaking the memory curse. Regina says it hasn’t worked because Henry doesn’t believe.
In Storybrooke’s forest, on a road, Rumple drives up in a car to Zelena and the car trunk is opened to reveal Hook tied up. Zelena warns him to kiss Emma or else she’ll start killing people she loves, starting with Henry (the preview scene).

In the EF, Regina leads the team to try to rescue Rumple, and in his castle they find him in a cage, and discover that he’s lost his mind. They ask him how to defeat Zelena, but he answers in riddles. Belle tries, and she holds his hand. Rumple says “the light magic of Glinda, the good witch of the south” will defeat Zelena. He sing-songs about stepping through a door and if pure of heart she won’t hide when Snow asks how they find Glinda.
In Granny’s in Storybrooke, the group discusses Henry’s book, and Mary Margaret says the book appeared in her closet previously, and that’s how she found it. Regina suggests they check MM’s closet again. Henry confronts Emma about where she’s going and says she’s been lying to him. Emma says she’s his mother and she knows what’s best. Henry asks Emma for her keys to their room because he doesn’t have his. Henry uses the keys to try to steal the bug, but Hook catches him and says he can’t let Henry run away. Hook says he’s got a better way…Hmmm…

In the loft in Storybrooke, Emma gives Mary Margaret the book, and Emma also tells her she’s thinking about taking Henry back to NYC after they defeat Zelena.
In the EF, Regina and Snowing see a door that leads to nowhere, which fits Rumple’s riddle. Snow walks thru, followed by Charming and Regina. When Regina walks thru, Snowing aren’t there (because she’s not pure of heart!) On the other side of the door, it’s snowing, and Snowing find Glinda, who has heard of Snow White. Glinda says her magic isn’t powerful enough to defeat Zelena, who was her friend long ago. Glinda gave her a pendant that contains her magic. Only light magic, created from love, will defeat Zelena, so Snow realizes Emma can defeat her, but Emma’s not with them. Glinda says they can enact the dark curse to reach Emma so that she can defeat Zelena.

In the EF, Snowing tells Regina that they can enact the dark curse, but Regina says she can’t cast it. Charming tells Snow she can cast it… using his heart.
In Storybrooke, Emma realizes Henry’s at the docks (she uses her phone to track him). Hook, Henry, and Smee are at the docks, and Henry asks why Hook is helping him. A monkey chases them, and they run into a boat storage building. Hook tells Smee to take Henry and find a new boat. Monkeys attack, and Hook shoots a couple and they burst into flames and die. Emma, Regina, Mary Margaret, and David rush into the building and the monkeys leave. Emma tells Henry she needs him to believe in fairy tales and gives him the book. Henry’s memories come back! He calls both Emma and Regina “Mom”! Regina tells Emma to kiss Henry and break the curse, but when Emma tries, Henry disappears… and reappears in Zelena’s arms. Emma zaps Zelena and Henry escapes. Regina is now unconscious on the floor.

In the EF, Snow argues there has to be another way, but Charming says they have to do this for their child. Charming thinks he’s going to die! Aww… Snow cries and tells him she’s loved him since the first moment she saw him. Regina tells Charming it’s going to hurt, but it will work. She reaches in and takes his heart, and Snow crushes Charming’s heart, and he falls to the ground. Snow falls on Charming’s body. Zelena flies in and the bubbling potion turns green. She knows about the dark curse, and she’s going to change the curse so that they won’t remember Zelena and Snow won’t know why Charming isn’t in Storybrooke.
In Storybrooke, Henry tries to wake up Regina, and she does wake up. Regina tells Henry she loves him, and kisses his forehead. The curse breaks! MM tells Emma that Zelena didn’t cast the curse – they did. MM tells Emma that Emma is the only one who can defeat Zelena. Emma asks how both MM and David are still there if one of their hearts is missing.
Back in the EF, Snow asks Regina to rip out her heart and split it so that both Charming and she will survive. Snow believes her heart is strong enough for both of them. Regina does it, and gives each of them half of Snow’s heart. Charming – finally – wakes up! The curse begins!

In Storybrooke, Henry and Regina talk about the last year. Henry asks about Robin Hook, and Henry meets him. Regina tells Robin he’s so much more likeable here in Storybrooke. Emma asks Hook what Zelena meant about Hook having failed her. Hook tells Emma about the curse on his lips. Emma says she can’t trust him now. David and Mary Margaret tell her she’s right not to trust him because they didn’t send Hook the message. Hook says he did get a message, so who else would have done it?
In the EF, Rumple giggles in his cage. Zelena drinks something so she’ll remember the past year, and gives Rumple the choice of whether to remember losing Neal or not, and wants to remember, for vengeance, but Neal splits off of Rumple and tells him they don’t need to remember. Neal writes a note and pins it to a dove and sends it after Killian Jones.
In Storybrooke’s cemetery, Emma and Henry remember Neal as a hero, as Mary Margaret and David look on. Mary Margaret goes into labor!

Preview!: Dorothy asks Glinda if she’s not in Kansas any more! MM in labor. Zelena arrives in the hospital. Regina confronts Zelena in the hospital.
