3×03 “Quite a Common Fairy” — FAVORITE AND LEAST FAVORITE MOMENTS
Last year AFTER THE SHOW EPISODE was completed, I always enjoyed coming to the forum to read this thread and see what everyone thought about the show. There were some lively discussions here…
So what ARE your favorite and least favorite moments …
[adrotate group="5"]October 13, 2013 at 9:05 pm #215582RumplesGirlKeymasterWhere do I even start?
–Tinkerbell was excellent
–Sneaky Fairy is SO SNEAKY
–Regina’s very black heart
–CaptainCharming.
–NEAL JUMPED OUT OF A WINDOW (and my heart stopped and I actually screamed very loudly)
–SleepingWarrior (whoa)
–Neal’s in NL
–Roast Swan (snort)
–Hook and Tink (what’s up with that?–what have they been through together???)
*Didnt’ like*
One of the running themes of this show is that desperate souls do desperate things. I would like to state up front that Neal is my second favorite character and I see a lot of myself in him. However. It is 100% against his character that he would use a child to get his ends. That’s the Rumple in him coming out. I was not happy with that. I understand that there is going to be a lot of unhappiness about that and probably a lot of vitriol aimed at Neal. I would like to say that I was not happy about it and for most of the episode I was fighting the urge to scream.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"October 13, 2013 at 10:15 pm #215618tabsicleParticipantI loved loved loved this episode.
Hmmmm to begin I am so glad that Nealfire is in Neverland.
Roland is such a cutie.
Totally knew Robin was EQ’s true love when I saw they went to a pub. I mean why would Robin Hood be anywhere BUT a pub? And I’m glad that the Royalhood (or whatever the name is) ship is sailing, because I wasn’t a fan of Hook and Regina being together.
Glad to see Regina pre dramatic EQ outfits again (although I do adore her entire wordrobe).
Loved the scene where Pan said they were using the apple for target practice.
Glad Neal jumped far enough to catch the shadow’s foot.
dissapointments in the episode include:
Who does Blue think she is? Tinkerbell was only trying to help Regina!
No Rumple kinda made it a downer.
I really wanted Mulan to love Philip, not Aurora. It just seems to me that Aurora is just far too whiny for Mulan, and Philip has more in common with her. And if she’s into females I thought for sure it’d be Belle. And did they just OMIT Shang or whatever his name is? OOOOO perhaps she goes with Robin and they find Shang who Mulan will fall in love with and there is her happy ending. And Shang could be after Regina because he’s trying to find the Dragon who could be is dad or something, so Robin will meet Regina! Yeah I like that headcannon.
And Snow cannot live without Charming? REALLY? What about Emma. And she lived without him for 28 years, so she’s obviously being overdramatic.
Time to hide your crazy, and start acting like a lady.

It tends to be either RegalHood or RegalArrow
Glad Neal jumped far enough to catch the shadow’s foot.
My heart stopped for a small fraction of a second and I screamed very loud.

Sneaky Fairy is Sneaky
No Rumple kinda made it a downer.
Small amount of Rumple but the third episode is tradtionally Rumpleless.

I thought “It would really suck if he didn’t make it”

Gollum: “Tricksy very Tricksy”

Favorite Moments:
-Hook suggesting to find Tinkerbell to help them
-Some “bromance” moment with Charming and Hook. Hook keeping Charming’s poison a secret
-Emma finding out a little bit of Snow’s history and that it wasn’t all sunshine and roses for Snow either.
-Neal jumping off the ledge and grabbing the shadow (I’m rather surprised and please that Neal found a way to Neverland so quickly. I hate if it dragged on to find another way to open a portal, ugh…I love that Neal is giving it all he can to get to Emma and Henry. He’s really repenting for all the wrongs he did to Emma)
-Henry shooting the crossbow at Peter. (Wow the boy has guts! Pan is even scarier catching that arrow like it was nothing)
-Peter telling Henry he is the real savior of magic
-Roland soooooo adorable!
-Regina and Tink’s face off with one another. Tink is pretty badass!
Least Fav Moments:
– Suggesting that Mulan tells Aurora that she loves her. I’m kinda iffy on this. I don’t like how they sideline Mulan as being the third wheel between Aurora and Philip. I really want to see Mulan get her own true love and happy ending. Because either way if she tells Aurora, she only interfering with Philip in that regard. That would just cause heartbreak anyway. I really hope Mulan finds her own love.
-Finding out Robin is Regina’s love (I kinda threw up in my mouth a little bit.) Ugh…however the writer play with this I just really hope that they do it well….I’m not really sure how it ruined Robin’s life if Regina didn’t go to him in the tavern that night. If she did, he probably wouldn’t have Roland….but then again Regina wouldn’t have enacted the curse that made everyone miserable… Bravo to the writers for causing my head to spin…

Can I just say that I called this in chat last night 😉

Tinkerbell’s character was awesome and I loved that she tried to help Regina when no one else would. Did anyone notice that she redirected her anger on what happened to her on Regina, when it was The Blue Fairy that actually took her wings away. Kind of like Regina blaming Snow for Daniel’s death when it was Cora who killed him. I hope they amend broken friendships because they were adorable as friends.
Regina’s black heart, Regina just ripped out her own heart and we finally got to see how dark it is. That was painful.
Mulan’s true crush, that was a complete surprise and I actually did like it. It was nice to find that out before we found out who Regina’s true love would be so that we now know she won’t be putting the moves on him. I actually thought it was kind of sad, poor Mulan.
The Roasted Swan was excellent.
Roland was so cute.
Regina ‘s true love being Robin Hood

I think that the way the story will play out is Regina finding out that she did not ruin Robin’s life by not meeting him. Things are suppose to happen as they should without any interference, magic always comes with a price and if she would have taken the chance Tink gave her. Robin would have never met Marian or had Roland. so yeah I liked that.
Least Fav Moments:
I was a little mad at Neal for putting cute Roland in danger.
Not enough Rumple. I need my Rumple.
October 14, 2013 at 3:01 am #215704bellaroseParticipantwow I loved this episode
Tinkerbelle was great, and her accent, was she Australian?
Aurora and Mulan, even though I was never a fan of Sleeping Warrior I squealed when I realised what was happening. when Mulan told Robin that she had somebody to talk to I thought she was going to find Shang but then she had that seen with Aurora and I was left thinking ok well that’s.. that’s a twist
I new Regina’s new true love was going to be Robin, I wonder how that’s going to play out.
The only thing I didn’t like was Neal suggesting to use Rowland (unsure how it’s spelt) I mean he would never use Henry, Henry would suggest to use himself and after a while he might agree to it but he would never volunteer Henry so why volunteer a kid much younger then Henry
oh and Blue stopping Tinkerbelle from helping Regina, Blue is a terrible Fairy how could she not see that she was lonely and feeling like a prisoner
Good always wins < That's just what Rumplestiltskin wants you to think Keeper of Belle's Theme Music, The Queen of Hearts Maze, Cora's Missing Heart,Tiny's Golden Harp
October 14, 2013 at 4:14 am #215707sweetgrassParticipantThings I like: A LOT. This is m favorite this season.
1. I totally called it. Regina was the one that Tink had an issue with. That’s 2 for me.
2. I loved Tinkerbell. She’s awesome and would be fun to have as a friend.
3. I really liked Mulan tonight. Her scene with Aurora was so well acted.
4. I loved the Neverland scenes with Tink and Regina.
5. I liked Charming confiding in Hook. I see a beautiful Brotp.
6. I liked the Hook and Emma coconut scene.
7. I loved Snowing scenes.
There are only two things I did not like at all
1. The thought that Robin Hood owes Rumple anything at all. Rumple tortured RobinHood. If anyone owes anything to the other, it is Rumple who needs atone for his deeds against RobinHood.
2. That Neal was willing to use a 4 year old as bait and guilting Robin for wanting to protect his son. That is not cool. I agree with BellaRose: Neal would not let his son be used this way. That kid got lucky Mulan’s sword is magical and deflects magic. Otherwise Roland would have been a goner and still might be. I fear that the Shadow comes back for roland and that’s how RobinHood ends up meeting Regina in Neverland when he grabs onto the Shadow to keep his son safe.
I am very curious about Hook’s relationship with Tink and Pan. When are we going to see both relationships? Those relationships should be very important to Hook’s character as he is part of the original Peter Pan story.
Keeper of Hook and Emma's smoldering first kiss, a certain Pirate's sauciness, the Evil Queen's snarkiness, Grumpy's gruffness and a drop of true love to make it all go down smooth.
