I want to know what does Regina do with the heart now carry it in her pocket since she doesn’t have a box to put it in.
This episode was so much better then the last one which was Rumbles.
I’m disappointed in Emma for siding with Regina on the heart removal. That, to me, was her real mistake in the episode. I especially didn’t like Emma physically holding Snow back and taking the easy way out.
So it looks like Emma will learn magic soon now.
Where was Tinkerbell?
The Plus Side – No Rumble, No Neal and No Belle 🙂

That’s true. This whole time they’ve been stopping Regina from using any magic because it would alert Pan. But now she can take a heart which is a magical act that enchants the heart (Rumple’s words, not mine. The Doctor) and then proceeded to use the heart to send a message with a MAGIC mirror. Either someone was lying (doubtful) or the writers decided to ignore this.
I think they’ve realised that hiding from Pan is a bit of a waste of time. He’s shown repeatedly that he can just rock up to wherever they are regardless of what they do to cover their tracks. It’s *his* island as he keeps reminding them.
Favourite moments:
- Leftenant Jones becoming Captain Jones of the Jolly Roger
- CaptainSwan kiss – you saucy minx Hook. “I wasn’t doing it for you… mate.”
- Daddy Charming going all protective was pretty cute. “you’re coming with me…. pirate” – he made sure that word was emphasised around his daughter!
- flying ships FTW
- Compact mirror phone reunion
Least favourite
- bit sick of it always being dark, not least because it makes it nigh impossible to watch anything while sitting outside in sunshine!
- Daddy Charming is so not subtle about his death march – it really didn’t raise any questions?!

Pan might not know about it immediately, and once the message is delivered, the goal is accomplished, so maybe it’s okay this time.
I’d like to see the good guys set off magic all over the place, all the time. If they can’t hide their magic from Pan, then they should try overloading his magical sense.

I know Regina isn’t teleporting them because it’s too dangerous to land somewhere blind, ie you could end up in a tree or falling to your death off a cliff, but I must have missed the line about not using magic at all
It’s also possible that Pan can only sense that they’re using magic, but not what magic they’re using
Or of course he could be setting them all up again

Likes:
Peter Pan- I liked PP this episode especially his “one handed pirate with a drinking problem” comment and the fact that he has put Hook into a lose/lose situation.
Regina taking Devin’s heart and Emma agreeing with her- They did what needed to be done. Regina’s starting to have a presence in the JR5 aside from the snarky comments. Also I think this heart taking was different to other heart takings- they’re only using Devin to deliver a message to Henry, they’re not planning to kill him so I think Snow was making a bigger issue out of it than it was.
Dislikes:
No Rumple and no Belle- I knew they wouldn’t appear. 303 had very little Rumple and no Belle and yet I didn’t miss them as much that episode as I did this episode.
Very little Felix- I like Felix, he’s now become my third favourite character on the show (after RumBelle of course), so I was disappointed that he was relegated to just a scene at the beginning and end of the episode.
Hook’s flashback- It didn’t have that emotional punch to it that Rumple’s flashback had last week, or Tinkerbell’s flashback, etc. There was no emotional connection of why we should care Liam died.
Snow not noticing at all that there was something wrong with Charming- She didn’t notice he was burning up when he hugged and kissed her, really?
Not finding out whether my headcanon about Devin being Felix’s brother was true or not- Not really the episode’s fault but it would’ve been nice for those two to share a scene and know one way or the other.
Devin- Only if he’s never seen again. He kind of felt like a plot device for this episode. Regina needed to take a heart so use the kid that was picking on Henry. (Hopefully Felix notices something is up with his little brother)
All magic comes with a price!

I won’t lie….when Liam cut himself with the plant I actually said outloud, “so you’re an idiot?” Blind faith.

Yeah come on Snow!

I loved how Emma was holding Snow while Regina did the deed. Snow looked traumatised, and Emma was holding on for dear life and whispering, “I’m sorry.” It was painful, but it was great.
And then later when Snow was saying she’d been worried about Emma giving in to the darkness and Regina butted in all, “She didn’t, I did, that’s what I’m here for.” It was sad that Regina thinks that’s all she’s good for, but on the other hand, it’s nice that she was able to help them contact Henry.
When they were talking to Henry, Regina said, “We love you,” WE, that’s a big deal for Regina to be classifying herself with the others like that.
Peter Pan- I liked PP this episode especially his “one handed pirate with a drinking problem” comment and the fact that he has put Hook into a lose/lose situation.
He is diabolical. This is how I fell in love with Rumple, when he was screwing with everyone like a boss, and Pan’s taken it to another level.

Regina
Charming being a Dad and Grandpa
Hooks charming moments
Fountain of Youth in Neverland makes sense to me.
Dislikes
I don’t know but this episode didn’t feel like it had much going on….felt…more like filler ish
Also and this is not a dislike but more of a statement… Poor Charming he can’t get a break this season
October 28, 2013 at 1:06 pm #219523Killian JonesParticipantThere was a tweet from JMo about Regina giving Emma magic lessons at some point. I think letting Regina take Devin’s heart was just part of what Emma told them to start with. They all have to be themselves in order to win. Regina has to allowed to be Regina in that instance even though it’s a dark moment.
