I am displeased with Neal’s love proclaimation to Emma, even if she is someone else who he loves. Unless he never loved Tamara in the first place, villan or not, his heart would in reality, still be involved. He’d need answers, closure, and time to heal for grief before proclaiming love to another woman. For me, this says “second choice” or “rebound”. If I were Emma, I’d have been insulted and concerned that someone who says he loves me can so easily switch gears like that.

This was the briefest we’ve seen PP in an episode I think. But I *love* his interactions with Rumple. Every time, PP has the upper hand somehow. He’s not scared of Rumple at all but Rumple is scared of him. I really gotta hand it to Robbie Kay. He nails this performance every week.

I am pretty sure that HOOK told BAEL-FIRE about Milah being killed by RUMPLE when they were arguing on the boat before FELIX/ PAN claimed him. I would have to re-watch the episode to be sure and won’t be able to until the DVD comes out.

I think she means come out to Emma. It hasn’t been made clear to Emma yet that Milah was Bae’s mother. At least it hasn’t been made clear on screen.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"November 3, 2013 at 11:00 pm #220867swanning-offParticipantOne of my very favorite Disney princesses came to life and she was EXCELLENT!
Me too. My inner child got so excited at the point that is my new signature for the forum! Dingelhoppered!!
OK favourite moments:
- the real Ursula is totes not OK with Regina impersonating her. Hmmm…..
- all of the Disney dialogue mixed in. “My dear sweet child…” I totally then ignored whatever RegiSula was saying and sang along “that’s what I do – it’s what I live for!” Also mad props for “he could be part of your world” and “oh yes… your voice”
- the dingelhopper test at the ball. “This is?” “…. a small trident!” No. It’s a dingelhopper. Clearly.
- Finally confirming that NL!Belle is really Pan’s shadow, and not a projection of Rumple’s subconscious
- Regina cracking it at the latest diversion and stalking off. Also Regina teaching Emma magic and almost revelling in her role as The Evil Queen again… she knows what she is, and is coming to terms with it.
- “eggs in a basket” – yum! Maybe it’s just because I’m watching this over a late breakfast, but excellent timing by Pan to make me peckish for eggs.
- confirmation that mermaids can travel between worlds. Is this their ticket home?
- Hook doing the right thing – both times. First, telling Snowing straight off that Neal is alive. Second, going first in the cave of secrets despite clearly not being all that keen to admit he was in love with Emma in front of her parents.
- Emma’s slightly freaked out chat to her Mum about snogging Hook. And Snow’s reaction to it. Hilarious!
- Neal’s rescue and the whole secret sharing business. Moves the narrative ahead in leaps and bounds in a really good scene
Not so keen on… not much really. Loved it all. Eric was a bit insipid but you can’t have everything…

Snow gets off too easy. The darkest thing she’s done is a secret to no one. – Bill

I think THIS would be the first chink in the bond between SNOW & CHARMING’s LOVE…. it could lead to an emotional split not just a split in living in NEVERLAND or STORYBROOKE … a broken family.
I wonder what secrets could have been revealed if RUMPLE AND REGINA had been there… A MISSED OPPORTUNITY FOR THE FANS.

The revelation of the shadow (curious how Regina could see through the deception, how’d she do that, and could it be a gift or as Emma would say a superpower. Funny how Emma can spot the lies a person tells, it’d be something else if Regina can spot the truth in appearances)
The bit when Regina nabs Ariel’s voice and does that brief monologue about not having the voice to speak to your prince. (a very telling regret with Rob being introduced as a soul mate)
Custodian of Graham's darts, Rumple's spindle and Robin's quiver

Rumpel and Regina are once again the old married couple that bickers all the time. I especially love the little slap that Regina gives Rumpel on the shoulder when he says that he left an important item in the shop.
Snow White calmly rebuking Charmings anger when Hook tells them about the kiss.
All of Ariel. She was so adorably enjoyable. I love the heartbreaking moment when she cried out to Eric, but could not be heard.
Pan hinting at his acquaintance with Rumpel, like is little prods at things that Rumpel still likes. I don’t know why, but the more that he speaks, the more I wonder and anticipate the reveal of what their relations were. I hope that it doesn’t disappoint me, like the whole typewriter thing.
Rumpel actually implying for a moment to Shadow!Belle that he would rather stay and save his family (whether they’d forgive him or not) than run to Storybrooke. (Wooh! We finally got some positive character development out of you, Rumpel!)
Someone actually saying that Rumpel didn’t have to die to accomplish his goals. And it’s Regina at that. I love how silly she makes his protests to continue on a suicidal mission sound. It’s amusing to have a decision that’s been so dramatized from the very point of conception be instantly shown as stupid.
Least Favorite Moments:
The convenience of Snow looking over just in time to see a point of struggle in the camp and confirm Hook’s theory. This just got on me, especially considering they were in the camp for a bit and she just noticed it like a cue to turn around and look directly at that spot.
Regina was a bit cheesy this episode, and not in the usually enjoyable way. (I know, knit pick.)
Regina pulling out a fork that was stuck in her throat and there being absolutely no blood.
CGI Ursula out of nowhere.
Prince Eric kinda bugged me. I dunno why. Perhaps it was his dialogue or line delivery? I really dunno.

This does not bode well for the mermaids. Just like with the bean crop, the show can’t allow realm travel to be too easy.
