3×09 Save Henry — FAVORITE AND LEAST FAVORITE MOMENTS
Last year AFTER THE SHOW EPISODE was completed, I always enjoyed coming to the forum to read this thread and see what everyone thought about the show. There were some lively discussions here…
So what ARE your favorite and least favorite moments …

REGINA tries to return HENRY to the adoption agency but can not do it…. She changes her mind.

PAN confesses that he has RUMPLE IN A BOX…. THAT RUMPLE is his son.. and he abandoned him.
PAN attacks Emma and Snow and but when he get to REGINA… HE UNDERESTIMATES HER
REGINA has no regret and take HENRY’S HEART BACK… She takes the box and the heart.

PAN IS STILL ALIVE… probably cause he still has his dieing heart.

At Cora’s grave site ….REGINA tells Henry the story of the curse… lonely … revenge is not enough…
REGINA cast a curse … and ancient potion of forgetting . … to forget her worries and fears… PRINCE AND QUEEN can live happily ever after.
REGINA AND HENRY IN THE SHIP… She cast a spell on HENRY so no one can take his heart again… PROTECTION AGAINST PAN.
HOME SOON…. MY LITTLE PRINCE.

OKAY I ADMIT it I LOVE THE WHOLE DANG EPISODE.Ok I’m going to be honest: this episode wasn’t as epic as I was hoping. The stuff I did like wasn’t the stuff that was the main drive of the episode. I thought they were doing a whole huge retcon about Rumple and what Regina knew and it really bothered me.
LIKED
–Rumple and Bae. (oh…there was a lot of dying whale noises happening during that scene. My two favorite characters and Bae letting himself be called Baelfire and hugging his papa and acknowleding that Rumple came looking for him…GAH)
–Regina with Henry. It was sweet and cute and I’m glad to see it wasn’t easy for her
–Sydney!
–The epic twist at the end
DIDNT LIKE
–The adoption story. It felt like a let down. I expected it to be more. I expected the Darling Bros to have a part in it
–The supposed Retcon. A and E have said MANY times that Rumple did not have his memories until Emma came to town. And now it sounds like he had them all along. WHAT?!
–The forget potion was..plot devicey. Why didn’t Regina wonder why she was in her vault afterwards?
–The spell over Henry’s heart. Henry’s heart cannot be taken by anyone else. Pan had to force Henry to take his own heart so this spell was rather pointless. And it should have been done as a precaution years ago. Again, plot device-y.

I don’t think he did. Regina was talking to him assuming he had memories but he was responding blankly. That’s consistent with Gold not having Rumplestiltskin’s memories until Emma arrived IMO.
Favourite moment, apart from Hook’s reaction to Henry’s revival, is that daddy-daughter moment between Charming and Emma. He’s proud of her and tells her so – then gives her a little cuddle.

SORRY… I do not see it that way… REGINA got flummoxed when she realized as she was yelling at GOLD .. he did not know what she was so bent out of shape for…. I do not think RUMPLE knew anything at that time… But RUMPLE IS STILL RUMPLE… his conniving, scheming, characteristics do not change… HE WILL ALWAYS BE SCAMMING, SCHEMING, and conniving as RUMPLE OR AS GOLD.

Good. Cause…I was really displeased by that. If it wasn’t Emma’s name then the whole “magical squid ink with her name” episode was pointless.

Liked:
-Rumple and Bae’s father and son hug. This was probably the best scene. Gave so many warm and fuzzy feelings!!!
-Regina and baby Henry. I’ll admit they are cute together. (I’ll even let go that little bit when Regina decides to give him away for a moment)
-Emma and the Lost Boys – I really love how Emma is acting like a mother to all of them, it was rather sweet. But a bit too easy considering they was aligned with Pan for so many years.
-Nealfire and Henry – Love that Nealfire says to Henry you’ve got a dad now. (even though it was to fake Henry/Pan hybrid)
-Pan and Henry body switches. Yes it felt out of the blue but still exciting to see what sort of dynamics and interactions with other characters come out of it when Pan is Henry and Henry is Pan.
-Wendy and Tink’s interaction ( I wish there was more of this!!!)
Dislikes:
-I’ll be honest I was disappointed with the whole adoption scenario. It was as disappointing as finding out what’s inside August’s box when he showed Neal. I thought there would be more to it then that. But I still think there is. How did Rumple pull strings to adopt Henry of all babies?
-Regina finding out who Henry’s mother is and then making a potion to forget? Blah…too convenient. I wish they didn’t make her find out at all.
-Pan getting so easily nicked by Emma. Really?
-Regina not regretting a single thing she did. There goes Regina’s redemption. At least she admitted out loud…

It was WAY too easy. August’s box is a perfect parallel.

As I said in the chat: I think the whole potion thing was stupid. They just could have had Regina choose to not look at the paper Sydney sent her. That way she wouldn’t know Emma and not need. memory potion. I guess it was for dramatic effect of her decision to keep Henry despite knowing who his mom is. I thought that getting henrys heart would be this goal for the rest of the season :/ it was so easy for Regina to get it. Why didn’t she just use magic to snatch it back out of pans chest like RQ did with that bag of dust in WL? >>
Beuond those complaints, I thought the episode was okay. Liked the whole freaky Friday twist and I’m happy that I may see dark Henry 🙂 even if its really Pan.
