As in FTL past.
I actually doubt that’s what happening because I suspect 311 is mostly PP flashback, but it’s not outside the realm of possilibity. Maybe PP comes to the EF during “Skin Deep” time and sees/hears Rumple and Belle talking about Bealfire and learns that Bae is the boy in the cave (and his grandson) and that Belle is Rumple’s TL.

But they could be doing it about PP too. The “lost him” thing was what clued most of us into Nealfire Pan (or at least that Bae was in NL at some point). This could be the same but for PP. It’s just a reference to PP being king of the lost boys.

He sent her to town, never expecting her to return on the proviso that if she did he would share his tale. When she did return Rumple told her that he’s lost him and that there was nothing more to tell really. Then the kiss happened and we all know how that went.

Good point! Sounds like another “Skin Deep” flashback to me! You’re right in saying Rumple is probably telling Belle about Baelfire. This is like the “unseen” footage of what else happened when Belle came to live in the Dark Castle.
