Yeah, another separation would suck. Thinking about the wording from Emma’s promo poster – “Believe that a lost girl can find her way home” – I think it could be possible that EVERYONE goes back to FTL, including Emma.
I think Oz may not be until S4. Like you say, it’s highly likely that S4 is locked in (88 eps = syndication) so if they wanna do Oz, that’s their S4 storyline ready and waiting. Back half of S3 can be everyone re-settling, re-claiming, re-building FTL. Take some time to set up RegalHood, then at the end of the season bring up some Oz related drama that Regina has to deal with to throw a spanner in their works.

*Trying not to get depressed I feel like the show would go south if they go back this early on. As RG said, then what would they do? Be transported to Oz and then have to get back to EF again, and then be sent to another land and have to get back to EF again. It would be so redundant. And just staying put in the EF for the rest of the series would be mind-numbing lol. Hoping it plays out differently.

Maybe but I keep going back to that scene they were filming for 311 that we got a report for: Emma, Regina and Henry and apparently Regina saying goodbye to Henry. And if this new Curse is Reverse!Curse then several people are going to be left in whatever remains of SB.

Yeah it’s all just speculation right now.
Even if they don’t go back to FTL, if they’re still in SB, they’ll still have to go off to Oz, and come back, then go off to somewhere else, then come back. No matter where they are, people will be having to go to some other place for adventures. At least in FTL they could branch out more within the one world. As long as they’re in our world, they’re confined to SB.

Yeah that’s the glitch, but we don’t actually know for sure that Regina was saying goodbye to them, that was just the best guess from those who were there.
November 13, 2013 at 8:57 am #223476My Evil DarlingParticipantI would really love for SB to go to EF and the theme for the later half be everyone trying to find each other. It will still be about family, but not only focused on the Charmplemills but include everyone in SB, since they’re practically family at this point. And it’ll allow the spotlight to shine on some other members of the SB and not just the main cast.

True, very true.
Let’s say that they are going to the EF and that several people are being left behind in what I assume will become the woods again (what SB was before the Curse). How do those left behind get to the EF? Can’t the JR just take them there if they have some pixie dust or they use the shadow? Or maybe those left behind end up going to Oz mistakenly. THe JR serving as a stand in for the Wizard’s balloon?

Maybe no one does get left behind.

They’d need to re-establish who rules what and where. Would old kingdoms be re-established? Or would they keep on living and governing in a way similar to our world instead?
Adam sent a couple tweets lately implying that we’re gonna get more Philaura at some point, (and finally find out how he was saved from the Wraith), and the only way they could be made relevant to the current storyline is if people go back to FTL and interact with them.
Same deal with Robin. If only Regina goes back, what’s she gonna do, sit around the campfire with the Merry Men for half a season? If everyone goes back, there’s a whole community for Robin and the Merry Men to be integrated into, (and they’ve never lived in our modern world, so that could be interesting), so he can become a real part of the story.

It’s not the adventures and that would bother me it’s just that the underlying cause for all of them is to get home. It just seems like endgame not something that should happen now. It would be like Emma choosing either Neal or Hook RIGHT NOW, and then yeah they’ll have their fights and cute moments and all that for us to watch but the fun/anticipation of the endgame will be gone.
And they’re not confined to SB they can still go on adventures (as we’ve seen lol).
And I’m also biased because I thought the first half of season 2 with Emma and Snow in the EF was super boring. I guess we’ll see. I’m just gonna stay off this thread so I don’t get ahead of myself haha.

Remember when we all thought that the Curse breaking was gonna be a series finale endgame thing, no doubt about it. 😉
November 13, 2013 at 9:28 am #223483RumplesGirlKeymasterHere’s hoping that no one gets left behind because that would be repetitive to an absurd extent.
I wonder if they have a big town meeting to discuss what is going to happen. Surely the peasants get a say in this? Poor peasants.
