Just thinking about the idea of Rapunzel being murdered, we’ve never seen ghosts in the Once universe, have we? If she’s actually dead would this be a first, in terms of a visible presence remaining (or haunting) at place or person? If so, that could potentially open up other story opportunities.

That is an eerie possibility. It could fit in with Phillip and Wraiths and the untold thing about how Rumple “comes back”. A lot of us have wondered about the connections between the “dream ” Red Room and the underworld and the sleeping curses.
Anyone who’s watched the Shining (and apparently the writers do love their Stephen King)– Red Room…..Red Rum…..MURDER!!! (now I’m going to go shiver somewhere because that kind of horror stuff freaks me out).

Prince Charming stumbles upon Rapunzel, who is trapped inside a tower, and must help her confront her fears in order for her to be free,
I’m gonna go off on a totally different tangent and suggest that the hooded figure isn’t even actually real. It’s a manifestation of Rapunzel’s own paranoia/agoraphobia, that keeps her shut up in the tower, away from the rest of the world. It will be paralleled with Charming’s visions and how those subconscious fears could potentially manifest in his life, the same way Rapunzel’s fears have manifested into the hooded thing.

Random, but I saw a tumblr post yesterday where someone was listing their ships and they included WickedCricket and I decided that if they end up keeping Zelena around long term and redeeming her, I could totally end up shipping it. I got this image of Zelena sighing and being all, “It’s not easy being green,” and Archie piping up, “Yeah, tell me about it,” and it made me chuckle. 😛
In the present day, Charming, Hook, Emma and Regina go searching for a hooded figure who is running through town. It leads them to the cellar door of the farm where they will find Rumple.
Do you think they will find Rumple in this episode? In the promo it looks like the cage is open and empty when they get there.
I hope they do find something of Rumple’s or that he left something so they’d know he was there. I want everyone to know he’s still alive already!

I don’t think they will. I think the first actual sighting of Rumple will be 316.

Maybe they see the spinning wheel and realize he must’ve been there (assuming the WW would leave that evidence in there).

Good question. He did call himself Robin Locksley so he might still be the Earl of Huntingon in the ONCEiverse.
