about Hook referring to Jolly Roger as her: all true captains know that ships are female, however it could be taken as Emma subtext I refuse to take it as such.
Favourite dialogue: What is this Spanish? It’s elvish, well half-elvish.
If it was only half-elvish what was the other half? And I wish that we had seen this theory based lesson with Regina and Rumple, I know lots of you are screaming it would be boring but a moment between those two characters, no matter how mundane, never is boring.
A prediction: One day Emma will have to hit the books to unravel the most complicated enchantment that threatens everyone and will have to speak elvish. (yes my nerd side is showing)

Not sure if this comment fits here or elsewhere – but did anyone else think it was weird how Hook kept referring to the Jolly Roger as a person – specifically a female person?
Ariel and Smee both made comments about it too… I wonder if there’s more there…
Hook has called the JR a female before. In Tiny, he said: “My ship, she’s a marvel….but to travel between lands, she must go through a portal”. This time it was basically him trying and failed to replace his broken heart over Emma with his ship. Hook to Ariel: “You have your love, I have mine”
Course in Forrest Gump, Gump had like 12 shrimpping boats all named Jenny. :o)
