First thought hearing the first lines: Jane Espenson! Can’t be sure which parts of the script she wrote, but it is noticeable she had her hands in it.

Just doing a rewatch and noticed a reuse of language:

In Going Home when Belle interrupts his birthday memorial for Bae he says “Well he’s not dead.  Just lost”.

In this ep, Z offers to reunite Rumple with his “long lost son”.  To which he replies, “he’s not lost, he’s dead”.
