So that means that Cora really is royalty at that point and is married to Prince Henry.
Yes, I’m pretty positive that these scenes are AFTER Cora has already married into Henry’s family. Just look at Rose’s posture, and the way she’s dressed, and the hair. All of that screams of a Cora who has been a royal for a little while by now IMO. She didn’t look like that when she was all dressed up at the ball in Miller’s Daughter. She’s carrying herself like Barbara Hershey in these pics. The version of Cora we’ve seen Barbara play. And that version of Cora didn’t exist before she married Henry.

Also, this DOES add to my headcanon that whatever kinky stuff Cora & Rumple got up to during Cora’s training/engagement to Henry Sr, they did nothing that would risk pregnancy. Cora’s confidence that no child of hers would be Rumple’s combined with the fact that she’s HAD a child…yeah.
Cora’s not stupid. Her weakness is her addiction to power.

I think we’re gonna see the Eva/Leo wedding in this ep. That dress looks like a wedding dress to me, and those big towers of white flowers look like wedding decorations.
April 16, 2014 at 11:19 am #261827KebParticipantWell, the pics & press release already suggest we’ll see at least 9 months’ worth of Cora’s life here…it’s entirely possible that we’ll see some of what happens after she marries Henry, too. After all, there could be as much as 2 years’ worth of backstory in The Miller’s Daughter, and I’d say we got at least 7 years’ worth in The Crocodile.

So Cora has baby Zelena as peasant, Miller’s Daughter events where she marries Henry INSTEAD of Eva, and then interrupts Eva and Leo’s happily ever after?

You’re right. If you look in the background of some of the pictures there are steps like the kind that would lead up to an altar in a church as well as candelabras that would be in a church/for a wedding.

Oh gosh. This show.
Cora interrupts Leo and Eva
Regina interrupts Snow and Charming
Zelena will probably interrupt X and Y in 322.

I’m not sure what is going on in the pictures. No one looks mad to me. The only picture where anyone looks remotely mad or upset, Leo looks like he is mad at Cora but BOTH Cora and Ava look upset/concerned about how he is talking to Cora or something.
I’m confused about how Ava went from being a snotty, immature brat who trips peasants to the sweet mother of a Snow White. She doesn’t look like a snotty brat in these pictures so I wonder what happened. And surely she remembers Cora who she couldn’t stand before.
Unless it’s something like Cora comes to try to ruin their wedding by telling them about Zelena (which would require Leo to be the father which it doesn’t sound like he is), only Ava forgives Leo because it was before her and she wants to try to find Zelena. This could lead to Ava’s lecture to Snow about how they are no better than servants – knowing that Snow has a half sister somewhere out there who is the child of a peasant who she had always wanted to find.
In the episode where he dies, doesn’t Leo give some overly disgusting speech at a party in front of Regina about his “only child” Snow White and how much he loves her and how much she looks like her mother and reminds him of her, etc. blah blah. I guess it would make sense if he was thinking that she really WASN’T his only child and his wife reminds him every single day of the child he never met. It could explain why he seemed to dislike Regina so much.
April 16, 2014 at 11:42 am #261839PheeParticipantThe press release says, “a chance meeting with a real prince could lead Cora to the royal life she’s always craved, but she must keep her pregnancy a secret or risk losing everything,” and I’m guessing that meeting was with Leo, but it was something that happened pre-Miller’s Daughter events. Then the scene in these pics is a, “Well hello, haven’t seen YOU for a while, good luck with that snotty so and so you just married, and here, have a memory potion so you forget ever having met me before, and also forget the fact that I had a kid before I met and married Henry, because I can’t risk having you tell that to anyone ever,” type situation.

Then the missing piece is what happens between Leo and Cora after winds up pregnant with Jonathan’s baby. We’re missing that gap.
