Maybe it’s a NL effect? Adam and Eddy keep saying they have to return to who they were before the curse while they’re in NL. Maybe that’s why Rumple can only see her as warrior Belle and not SB Belle. Idk lol.
That WAS my first impression when I saw the promo – that she definitely looks like warrior Belle.
And boy am I glad she’s not Lacey anymore (for various reasons). Lacey would be telling him to let Pan keep Henry but Belle will guide him in the right direction 🙂

I’m pretty sure they’re using Mr. Gold in the present day sense. I think this has to do with Belle since we know 302 is a Snowing episode in the past. They always refer to him as Mr. Gold when it’s the present day.
