Yay for the title! An obvious choice but the perfect one…I love when they use famous story quotes. I really hope we are not going back to the Enchanted Forest for good. Storybrooke is a character in itself and I’d be sad to not see it anymore. Story characters in our world is a big part of the show’s appeal for me.
I agree, that is what I want to see. I actually think realizing they don’t belong in EF and that SB IS home now would make sense. In the EF they are these different people and creatures, and in SB they can come together between these fated roles of villain and heroes, and just be a family, a community.

Yay!

It might come off like romantic TLK is more powerful than maternal TLK.
I’m expecting something with Regina and Henry frankly, though I’m far from an Evil Regal, it just would fit more thematically for this season, whatever may or may not happen in Emma’s love life. I believe Regina’s motherly love for Henry is going to be a huge factor and we have yet to see that proven as every bit as true as the love Emma has for Henry. I feel the writers are driving towards this conclusion.

It would parallel Season 1 nicely, and the past 2 seasons have touched on this. Season 2 we have Regina trying to change to become a better mother for Henry and putting him first even if it makes her unhappy (allowing him to stay with Charming while Snow and Emma are in EF), trying to not use magic.
3A we have her putting her differences aside with Snowing, Emma, Hook to save Henry from NL which ended in her giving up Henry to Emma to give him his “best chance”–again parallel to what Emma did when she gave up Henry.
As for the title, “No place like home.” I think what our characters will discover -be it Emma, Regina, Snowing, Henry, Hook, Neal, Rumple, Robin…..home isn’t necessarily a place. Home is where your family and loved ones are. Since our main character cast is so big..home is wherever they are all together. So whether are characters in NY, SB, or EF being together is where there home is and I think they will discuss that in the finale. Just my 2 cents 🙂
March 25, 2014 at 6:14 pm #255605MatthewPaulModeratorI agree with the theory that home is where your family is. Doesn’t matter if it’s in NYC, SB or EF. As long as your loved ones are with you. I do suspect that Emma and everyone else will come to terms with SB being their home, though. After all, SB was where Emma really felt connected once Henry brought her there. Either way, I don’t see them getting rid of SB altogether. It’s been a core part of the show for so long and I like the real world/FTL world parallels. Yes SB has had magic since Season 2, but it’s still a modern day setting. The bridge idea between SB and FTL is a cool concept, but I’ll also be happy if they decide to just remain in SB. Once everyone gets back their memories of the missing year, perhaps they’ll realize that going back to FTL wasn’t all that it was cracked up to be.

I also feel as though Regina has a part to play in breaking this new curse. Reversal parallel of S1, right? Thats what we’ve been saying? The difference this time is that she and Emma are on the same side.

Daniel said something on the podcast the other night like just once he needs to see during the lost year, someone wish for cellphone or a shower. 🙂

If it isn’t a moment between her and Henry, it is between her and Robin.
I hope SB is here to stay. I love it and it’s anti CGI qualities.

Agreed. With the EF, it’s either greenscreen or forest, which is essentially what watching Wonderland is like.
