“Wendy, we will save John and Michael, I swear to God.” His voice wavers a tiny bit, and he sounds so quietly desperate and hopeful, because the Darlings are his family, and he thought they were dead, but now they’re alive, and GAH, just kick me right in the feels why don’t ya, MRJ!!
GAH, I haven’t even watched the clip yet and I’m all ready choked up thinking about Neal’s reaction to the Darlings. I really must remember to have my box of Kleenex handy this weekend. 🙁
*anxiously waits for time to go faster so she can watch the clip when she gets home from work* 😮

#MoreBOOMLessGloomNovember 14, 2013 at 12:49 pm #223781RumplesGirlKeymasterI wonder if we’ll hear more about Wendy’s time in NL both the first trip and the final trip that landed her in a cage. We haven’t seen all the crying boys on NL yet. The Lost Boys we’ve seen are those ones who are devoted to PP and want to be in NL. So where are all the others?
Also, really need to know if Wendy was kept in that cage for a whole century.

(Yup) (I buy it)–we have wondered for a long time what would happen if the Dark One stabbed someone with his dagger.
But the promo shows Henry giving Pan his heart, right? But Rumple doesn’t get stabby until 311. So can Henry only get his heart back if Pan dies?
–”The boy will be your undoing” probably refers to Pan (but interestingly enough…refers to Pan by way of Henry)
Going with what I said in the previous paragraph, if Rumple has no choice but to kill Pan in order to get Henry’s heart back, and that killing is what causes him to lose the Dark One, then technically, Henry’s still the one who is his undoing, because he’s becoming undone in an effort to save Henry’s life.
–Most people seem to be getting on board Team DaddyPan
I guess because of Rumple’s statement that he can’t be trusted to not go back on his word, and how that parallels himself going back on his word with his son? I dunno, I’m still TeamBrothers right now, nothing in that clip changed my mind.

Don’t say you weren’t warned! If this clip is already getting to me, I’ll be a total mess in the scene where they actually reunite.

Peter Pan: “Rumple, I am your father.”

Like father, like son! Rumple gets his nasty sense of self-preservation from DaddyPan! PP must be seriously devious if he’s willing to let his great-grandson die just so he can live.
I rewatched Dark Hollow last night and Pan said to Felix, “Given his lineage, I expect nothing less.” 😀
Also, Neal knew about the Heart of the truest believer because of his stay in NL, and probably told Emma. (To whomever had this question– sorry, on my phone so it’s hard to go back once I start typing!)
Keeper Nealfire's/Bae's scarf, Henry and Neal's bribery ice cream sundae, Baelfire's sword, the coconut map, and more.

I doubt Wendy was kept in the cage the entire time, just since Henry and his family arrived. I think Wendy was mainly living under house arrest in that treehouse we saw her in when Henry found her. I wonder if the bed she was in is her bed from Victorian London. Otherwise, it seems unusual that PP would have such a decorative bed in NL. Maybe that is how the Darling children got to NL….by having their bed enchanted to fly there? I hope we get this back story!

Nope, it’s not. I checked that the other day when KFC mentioned Bedknobs and Broomsticks in another thread.

But who is to say that “saving Henry” doesn’t mean saving his person so much as saving his heart. What use is Henry (the actual boy) once pan has his heart? He might fork Henry over to the family once he has the heart. So “saving Henry” is really getting his heart back before Henry dies. (wow that’s cracktastic but I like it)

That’s true too. So…both undo?

I think Wendy has to at least explain how she got back. And how her brothers came to NL. Did they all come together? Separately?

I doubled checked too. I noticed in this clip from 2×21 that Wendy has a wide, double-bed with white brass. In the most recent clip from 3×7, the bed was the same width but the color of the bed itself look rusted. Perhaps it is the same bed Wendy had in the Darlings’ nursery, except that after 100 years, the paint has chipped and the brass turned dark from rust.

This is possible. Then how did the bed become enchanted. We know it wasn’t Tink seeing as she’s only been in Neverland for at max 10 years prior to Curse and Wendy/Darling Bros were there for at least 100.
