Anyone else notice that the ship is the Jolly Rodger?

So this must take place either before Hook retrieved it in the Missing Year OR BB survived and he was the one that Hook traded the ship for the bean and takes place Post-Curse 2.

If they expect me to buy that not only did Blackbeard survive the bubbly sharks but his costume also survived being torn to shreds, I’ll roll my eyes so hard they’ll end up on the other side of the room. I’d say it’s more likely that it’s before Hook got the ship back. If Blackbeard had sailed off to Arendelle, at least that’d explain why Hook hadn’t found the ship.

There’s also the question of how Anna and Kristoff would fit into this part of the timeline. Were they seriously frozen in Arendelle for the entirety of the initial dark curse, and unfrozen once the curse was broken?

Well. We know that shortly AFTER Anna met Belle, Hook was in the EF WITH the Jolly Roger, thanks to Snow Drifts.

We don’t know quite how much time the Snow Queen spent with Anna & Elsa but it sure didn’t seem long at all.

(I’m still trying to work out 1982, but that aside–the events in Snow Drifts are somewhere between 1 and 3 years before the curse is cast, and should be closer to 3 based on Roland’s age in early S3. If 1982 is accurate and there are no time jumps, then that puts it under 2 years before the curse is cast–maximum 22 months before.)

Right. The main thing we don’t know is how long Anna and Kristoff were frozen for.

A and E don’t exactly care about the timeline so it won’t surprise me if they do some hand waving type stuff.

True but they’re reasonably good about the order of things (save for curtains). They just don’t care much about the time between, which is actually hilarious because the whole show is premised on the time between certain events and that tends to be how they label time jumps when they bother to.

Is this Snow, imprisoning herself, saving the town from her horrible self? I could picture Mary Margaret feeling like she should be temporarily locked up to protect her family and friends from anything bad she might say or think under the spell of shattered sight. Horrible things like, “Buy a flashlight!”

I’m interested in that shot of Will reaching out to Roland. Maybe it’s a coincidence that at that moment everyone’s back is turned. Will, in my opinion, is one of the more interesting characters added to OUAT, as I have no idea where they’re taking his story.
