Anyone else think that Cruella kidnapped Belle….?
Yup. (It might actually be fun to see Belle vs Cruella, considering Emilie is a hardcore animal lover so maybe that’s where they got the idea. But I’ve learned to not get my hopes up where Belle’s involvement is concerned, so I’m reserving judgement.)
[adrotate group="5"]My big concern with this promo is if they’re gonna dumb down Ursula from a goddess to just a witch. It seems like she’s sharing a scene with at least Cruella? But Merrin tweeted the other day: “Holy smokes. We just saw the first cut of the #EvilTrio entrance to OUAT.” and if what they saw was this promo then it suggests they’re probably all three sharing a scene, (thought I know Ursula, Cruella and Rumple have been sharing scenes too, so that might be what she was talking about, but do supporting actors get to see things like selected scenes from an ep that aren’t a promo?). I’ve got no problems if they want to bump Cruella up to witch status, because it would make her fit better IMO. But if they demote Ursula’s status to witch, I’ll be annoyed.
To be fair, being a Sea Witch is what Ursula is supposed to be traditionally. What I could see them doing is making it so people only thought she was a God due to her powers of the sea. After all, she was supposed to be a “myth”, and myths aren’t known to be 100% factual.

I get that she was typically a sea witch. But in the show, they went to the extent of having a kingdom making a golden statue to revere her because she was was a GODDESS. Even the Little freaking Mermaid thought Ursula was a GODDESS. So I won’t be cool with it if they downgrade her to “witch”.

Crack theory: Cruella can shape-shift and is actually the dalmation seen in the promo.

As weird as it sounds, that dalmation looks suspicious. It’s the eyes and the spots around the eyes. It looks like it’s up to something, that it’s plotting something nefarious. That is not the look of an innocent puppy.

I agree with Phee. Plus they have showed Ursula’s power to be so great that she granted an entire species the ability to transform into humans and she has lived for over a thousand years. Ursula is OLDER than Rumpel. If they try and tell us she actually isn’t a goddess now, I’ll be p’d off.
