Why do I feel like Emma and Regina trying to pry a memory out of Pinnochio will fail. I mean, when Emma asked him in Selfless, Brave and True if he remembered who the bad person was who was going to hurt everyone (Tamara), he didn’t remember anything. Because he’s a kid and as screwed up that whole episode was, I think it makes sense that he doesn’t remember anything from his adult life.

I think you’re right that their attempt to pry out memories will fail. This will lead to some magic handwaving thing that makes Pinocchio back to August. Some spell that someone (Belle?) discovers that reverts him

I don’t think that Pinocchio will turn back into August. I think Regina and Emma will successfully extract a memory using magic (a la Dumbledore and the pensieve from Harry Potter). Perhaps August’s memories are deeply buried in the far-reaching corners of Pinocchio’s mind, so despite the fact that he doesn’t remember them, they’re nevertheless accessible using magic. I think that August will simply appear in a flashback from S1 time-frame, and/or before he ever came to SB.

I agree. If they actually bring back August, then they run the risk of him talking about Neal since August was very pro-SwanFire before he died, and A&E can’t have that, can they?
