So I take it Hook means “return to Neverland” as in the island, while they’re still in the realm itself? Or maybe Pan did have them go back to the Enchanted Forest as an errand?

I think we might finally be getting an answer of exactly what work Hook did for Peter Pan while in his employ. Perhaps the captain was a smuggler of some kind who did dealings for Pan going between NL and EF.

I’m relieved this seems to work with the timeline, if Pan allowed Hook to go back and forth between Neverland and the Enchanted Forest. This also probably ties into the deal Hook made with Pan to permanently leave Neverland. So I guess the deal was to do all of these various errands in exchange for access off of Neverland, which was what a lot of us suspected back when Season 3 aired. Though some might ask why Hook didn’t just choose to not return to Neverland against Pan’s wishes but 1) Pan would find out, and track them down and 2) Hook still wanted to remain in Neverland for an extended period of time, so he could continue plotting against Rumple without aging.

The trips to the Enchanted Forest could also explain how he learned about the Dark One’s Dagger, right? Also, the fact they’re still referencing Pan in flashbacks gives me a little hope they’ll eventually address how Pan had the drawing of Henry before He was born in 2×22. For me, that was one of the most intriguing questions that season finale left me with and then it never was explained 🙁
A full hold of what? and for what purpose? No seriously…what do the lost boys need on NL that they can’t get. They were perfectly fine for a very long time until Hook showed up. So…what?
I mean, I guess I’m glad that it answers the T-word question but that’s just straight up weird. Unless Hook is kidnapping kids and taking them to NL, there shouldn’t be anything that Pan and his gang needs.
