i dont think its an egg, I think its one of those things people carry babies in. I mean, I am hoping its not an egg T_T I already have a massive fear of child birthing and that thing is just ridiculous. Plus I don’t think eggs have scales. Unless eggs with scales is how dragons give birth? This is all very squirmy thoughts for me lol Also Maleficent is wearing the dress she wore when she met Regina. And if Snowing took Maleficent’s babe, I wonder why she was so chill later on. She said she “soldiered on”. Hmmm.

I’ve been having issues reconciling Zen!Maleficent with the Maleficent we’ve seen in this season. But I think Zen!Maleficent would be before these baby stealing flashbacks, because didn’t Regina get the Curse from her immediately after she’d crashed the wedding, and the baby stealing happened after their honeymoon?

Punishment for what? Didn’t Regina steal from Mal? I’m asking because maybe Regina knew the Charmings did something to Mal. Maybe didn’t know what at the time. I’m just curious as why Mal was included in the curse but Ursula and Cruella were not.

As for punishment, yes Regina stole from Mal, but Regina isn’t exactly known for her logical thinking when it comes to people who “wrong” her. See, for example, an entire realm who never did anything to her but that she subjected to close to 30 years of time freezing un-happy endings. Regina was likely peeved that Mal made Regina fight her to get the Curse.

It doesn’t make sense to me that Cruella and Ursula weren’t effected by the first curse in some way. We see them interacting with Rumple before the first curse and they are their adult age now. If they were in NYC pre-Curse, with no magic, they would be 30 years older.

I know it doesn’t make sense. But Ingrid suffered the same “doesn’t make sense” bit. She looked exactly the same as she did when she came over a year before the Curse. She didn’t age at all, even though she should have because 1) because she was in the real world for about 16 years and then 2) she was unaffected by time freeze in SB–just like Henry who likewise aged. She should have aged about 30 years from the time she came through the door.
It’s a major flaw.
Ursula I can rationalize with the fact that she’s not really human and maybe merpeople age differently than humans. Cruella…I got nothing.

The sorcerer could have sent them here or they could have gotten here through some other magical means by accident or whatever. Its not the most illogical thing on this
Also Maleficent is wearing the dress she wore when she met Regina.
I’d like to point out that I meant the same dress she wore when she Fought regina in season 1.

You are right now that I think about it. Regina and Mal fought for the curse, Regina took it, Mal went to Snowing to find the tree for protection, Mal told Snow she was preggers and now it seems Snowing kidnapped the child.

I also assume that since Maleficent told Snow that Snow’s baby had potential for great darkness, the reverse could be true for Maleficent’s baby?
