I’m just going to assume that even though the apprentice said “once the spell is enacted it can never be reversed”, the spell will be reversed. I also assume that since Maleficent told Snow that Snow’s baby had potential for great darkness, the reverse could be true for Maleficent’s baby? and, I also thought that thing was an egg. A very large scaly egg. Bad Snow.

Did anyone else notice that the scene where Maleficent hurled fire at Snowing…it looked like it was underground?????

And if that is Mal’s Baby Egg…I can’t see her just letting Snowing run off with her child! And following that quote “Once the spell is cast, it can never be reversed…” I wonder does that mean that Snowing somehow magically locked Mal underground before stealing the Egg?

I know It may seem like one of the biggest retcons of the century considering Regina specifically stated that she was the one who locked Mal underground, but that’s the only reasonable explanation I have as to why Mal would just stand there and let Snowing run off with her Egg Baby. Unless Regina had already sealed Maleficent underground, and Snowing just used that opportunity.

And following that quote “Once the spell is cast, it can never be reversed…”Quote

It could be referring to a different spell. Like maybe Snowing did some magic, putting all the evilness on Lily in order to ensure Emma would be good?

I’m pretty sure Snow used a spell to switch Emma’s potential for darkness with Eggie’s potential for light.

Is it too far fetched to think that those babies’ hearts might have been switched at birth, or before birth?

You mean for a show that literally has hearts being crushed and literally has two people sharing halves of the same heart, an event that literally brought one person back to life?

Exactly! Snow sees a vision of Emma ripping her heart out. Earlier in the season, Snow threatens to rip out Maleficent’s heart.

So, yeah, stuff like that there.

Now that is definetly a possibility!

    Of course it’s an egg.

The episode is called “Best Laid Plans”.

In which … an egg is … laid!

    *runs away* 😉

I’m not sure whether to laugh or cry because that’s probably exactly why they named the ep that.
