I think it was the E! article that specified Sean’s Robin Hood is just Robin Hood and not Robin of Loxley, which is the traditional Robin Hood most of us know.
Storybrooke Robin introduced himself to Regina as Robin of Loxley. I think they made that distinction because the myth of the man is associated with the name Robin Hood.
Forever *twitching* over that still. There is no reason to try and explain it. Especially since Belle recognized Sean even though she only met Tom
Maybe they met at another time?! (shrug)
I’m excited. Very interesting that Robin was a tavern owner. This would predate the Merry Men and Marian. I am assuming this is the same tavern Regina and Tink visit?
Rumple gave Robin gold straw, correct?

When? Belle was locked up in Regina’s tower for three years, almost immediate after she was kicked out by Rumple.

Emphasis on shrug

…
On the other hand, what’s up with the epaulettes in the still? Doesn’t that more readily refer to fictional London, than Oz?

I’ve seen fans mention it might be a shoutout to the character Fiyero in Wicked.
April 6, 2015 at 8:06 pm #300944Sage of EarthParticipantBut does Rumple feel bad for what he did to Belle? Does he?!! Because the writers have not shown us a scene where he actually expresses that he’s sorry for what he did to her. All he’s done since coming back is stalk Belle and violate her most important relationships, thinking that Will stole
Well the fact that he hasn’t confronted her does show that he does feel shame, and guilt for what happen. I honestly don’t think any of relationship outside of hers and rumple have been violated this season.
Unless you count Belle relationship with Hook being important. In that case yes technically he did violated by pretending to be him, but do I think Hook and Belle relationship is important. Not really they are more acquaintance than friends.
As for Will and Belle out side of watching, and acting emo he hasn’t really done anything to disrupt it outside of interrupting one day. If that the case than Regina, Emma, Prince Charming, and Snow White have all violated Rumple and Belle relationship. (By the way I do think this would be extreme.) I would like to know which relationship has been violated since I am drawing a blank. So far he been going out of his way to watching, but not confronting. It almost as if he trying to get the nerve to talk to her, but he keep chickening out. Which is why the idiot finally decided to talk to her while she was unconscious. (by the way I love rumple, but even i have to say that pretty lame and cowardly move). I think Belle will probably will have to be the one to do that job, because it looks like he isn’t going to man up anytime soon.
As for my opinion, well I don’t have any. I have no idea if the wounded heart is suppose figurative wounded heart, or enchanted wounded heart. If its figurative than I think its interesting, but I can’t say anything more to that extent. If it is a enchanted wounded heart then I have alot more questions to ask before coming down to any conclusion like:
Can the wounded heart occur naturally, or does have to be a direct magical intervention?
How does one develop or receive a wounded heart?
What exactly are the psychological effects of a wounded heart?
What are the physical effects?
Is the elixir the only cure?
If it isn’t what is the other cure?
Does Rumple have a enchanted wounded heart?
Honestly I have too many questions to even form an opinion, so I would suggest to hold off before formulating any.
April 6, 2015 at 8:15 pm #300946SweetsParticipantHow does one develop or receive a wounded heart?
I think the use of the word ‘wounded’ implies that something was used to actually injury the heart. A weapon. Which is a distinction from a ‘broken’ heart. So the idea that Rumple wants the elixer to cure a broken heart seems too simple to me.

What I mean by magic heart is actually enchanted hearts. I just temporarily forgot the name, I just edit my last post and replace it with the appropriate name.

For all the non-Wicked fans, this was Fiyero:
They look similar-ish. The costumes, I mean.

(The 1939 movie obviously was going from the same source material and has also influenced later interpretations. And for bonus Oz fun, Baum himself created at least four films during his lifetime–late 19teens–of his Oz series.) I saw the uniform and immediately said, that’s Oz! It’s more than just Wicked.
The original books by Baum were all lavishly illustrated (John R. Niell did most of the series, though the first book was originally illustrated by W.W. Denslow and they had very different concepts of what Dorothy herself looked like), and in places the illustrations and text referenced one another in a way that you don’t see often in modern texts.
Even women soldiers in Oz wear similar fashions:
