So this episode coming up, is it a flashback to six weeks ago or happening in real-time? Because if it’s happening in real time, there’s no way Rumple could be in New York at the same time as being in Storybrooke.

I think we get present day SB scenes, flashback to six weeks ago scenes, and FTL/Oz flashback scenes. It’s happened before. We had present day scenes, SB flashback scenes, and FTL scenes in the episode where we saw Regina adopt Henry.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"If I had to guess, the main reason the writers chose Robin to get the keys to Neal’s apartment was so they can conveniently have Robin and Rumple cross paths. Still begs the question why Regina had the keys in the first place. Did Emma keep the keys after his death, and then gave them to Regina to give? And who’s paying Neal’s rent? I know some have mentioned that maybe the rent is being payed for via direct deposit, but I would think that money would have to run out at some point. Do the landlords even notice he hasn’t been around in over a year?
Why isn’t Rump living there? I mean, he actually has been to Neal’s apt so he knows where it is. Why go live with Ursula?
Or maybe Rump WAS living there until RH and Zelarian (can we make this a thing? This should be a thing.) came there as well, then Zelarian pulled whatever magical stunt she did to get him out of there and in search of Ursula.

Well, Emma, Henry and Hook did drive from New York to Storybrooke in “New York City Serenade.” My guess is Robin, Marian and Roland took a bus. It would be a rather long drive, though. According to Google Maps, it would be at least 8 hours from the Maine to NYC.
Rumple chose to fly because it was faster and he could very well afford it.

It seems as though they got off the bus at the beginning of the scene. Or maybe thats just my perspective.
Wow! The clues that Zelena is Marian jump right out at you in this last sneak peek. Notice the white horse, which is a nod to ‘a horse of a different colour’ and then all the black & white segments thrown in with the colour segments. You can see it in the backbground with the crowds but especially with Robin’s hand when he’s got the thief down on the ground. WofOz was black & white until Dorothy touched down. 🙂

Storybrooke is about a half hour outside of Boston. Emma brought Henry back the same night he went to Boston. NYC would be a little further away.

Actually, I was wrong. Emma says that Boston is a 4 hour drive away, based on what she told Ashley in “The Price of Gold.” Still much longer than a half hour, though.
