Thank you guys for the clarification. So can the Author can open portals like the Apprentice?

That’s what I was wondering. He’d have to be able to in order to get to Fictional 1920s London. Maybe he can write himself there?

    Theory time:

The Author is Cruella’s father. The Victoria Smurfit Character in the promo pics is mom. The mysterious stranger is Rumpel. Cruella is Alice’s mother. That’s why her younger self looks like Alice’s daughter. Madeline is someone else. Alice becomes the next author; it’s in her blood.

That’s crazy….. So crazy, it just might work o_o Cruella as Alice’s mother…. this could work I think.  Maybe.

What I get from that summary (and the other promo stuff) is…

Cruella’s life is crap, her mother’s holding her prisoner, until the Author shows up to help change her story for the better and empower her to get out into the world and have a life, (and she falls for him of course). He gives her the ability to control animals, which means she can force the dalmatians to turn on her mother and kill her and that’s how she gets all dark and evil. She ends up regretting it, but the Author buggers off back to FTL and won’t help her make things better, which is why she’s after him in present day, (and also why she ended up in FTL, trying to find him), because “You made me this way now take it back.”

    In fictional 1920s England,

How many Fictional!Englands are there? One for each time period? That seems a bit excessive.

    Milli Wilkinson as Young Cruella

There were seriously no other young actresses available, so they had to recycle one? Really?

Alice’s mother is dead. We met her father in Wonderland and he remarried.

That is exactly the question I was going to pose. So far we have fictional England of the late 1800s (Alice in Wonderland), and fictional England of the 1920s (Cruella de Vil), which seem to be separate and distinct lands and/or AUs from *REAL* London of the early 20th century in which Baelfire landed and met Wendy Darling. Also, there is that pesky little detail that the fictional England of the 1920s occurs in the Once universe timeline prior to the events of late fictional 19th century England (which in Wonderland was concurrent with ALWM)? Okay then. *hands @Keb a drink*

Nope. We know that Victorian England doesn’t change. It’s different fictional London. In order for it to be the same London in both places, around 30 years would have to pass. And it didn’t.
