I’ve got another question about the second sneak peek. Why was Regina not way more shocked and keeled over by the revelation that Zelena is alive again? Did Regina ever learn that Rumple had “killed” Zelena? Did Regina think Zelena had killed herself? Rumple had bother to explain to her how Zelena is alive or I’ll flip a table.
No, so far as we know, Regina and co. still think that Zelena “offed” herself but now they know that she really didn’t. I’m starting to think that they’ll never know about Rumple murder attempt.

I cant keep up, I wonder why? Maybe his death is her happy ending. Maybe he is the reason she wanted the gauntlet. she wanted it to find his weakness and kill him.

Yeah, that’s odd. I could see her wanting the Author killed as revenge for whatever crappy thing he presumably did to her. But why would she specifically want his dead body? Does she want to feed it to her dogs? Why does the destruction of human remains on a “family show” no longer surprise me?
I dunno. Is it possible that she wants to reanimate his dead corpse but this time with his ‘will’ removed so that he can’t say no to whatever she wants.
Ugh. That doesn’t sound a whole lot better to me. Sounds more like G.R.R. Martin than Disney. But I suppose reanimated corpses are already part of Once canon (Zombie Daniel comes to mind, and both Jafar’s and Cora’s army of undead zombies).

April 17, 2015 at 1:33 pm #301857MatthewPaulModeratorI think Cruella just wants the Author dead. She wants his dead body as either 1) Proof that Emma and Regina killed him and/or 2) The satisfaction of seeing the Author dead.

If that’s all there is to it – then why doesn’t she just kill the Author herself? Why kidnap Henry and force Emma and Regina to do it?

Either the Author is too powerful for her to overcome or she still has feelings for the Author, and doesn’t want to be the one to personally kill him. But she still wants him dead.
April 17, 2015 at 2:53 pm #301871SlurpeezParticipantI believe I’ve figured out why Cruella wants Issac dead and needs his body. Cruella wants Issac dead so that Henry can take his place as the next Author. That is why she kidnaps Henry and why she needs Issac’s body to preform a ritualistic right of passage. Cruella still loves Issac, but Issac refused to rewrite Cruella’s horrible past with her mother. That is why she wants Regina and Emma to do her dirty work for her (because she can’t bring herself to kill the man she loves). She intends to make Henry into the next Author, so that he’ll rewrite her story for her. Somehow, Cruella is in the know about Henry being the Truest Believer, making him the ideal candidate to be the next Author.

April 17, 2015 at 3:11 pm #301875MatthewPaulModeratorThere’s a 3rd sneak peek in the middle of the KTLA Josh Dallas interview. 2 mins and 38 secs in:

Keeper of FelixApril 17, 2015 at 3:49 pm #301877SlurpeezParticipantThe third sneak peeks is just plain annoying. While Snow and Charming were in no way justified in what they did, and while Emma has every right to be incensed over what they did to Lily, Emma’s double standard is starting to grate on my last nerve. Emma may hold her parents to a much higher standard than everyone else, seeing how they’re her parents and they call themselves heroes, but her blind refusal to look at them as human and fallible while giving a pass to Hook and Regina, who’ve either left her for dead or actively tried to kill her, is just plain outrageous.
And Snow’s not helping matters either, because she is self-satisfied in saying she was actually justified in her horrible decision to cast Emma’s potential for darkness into an innocent child. Snow’s continuing to rationalize her terrible decision just shows her outright hypocrisy. Snow had to learn the lesson from her own mother to keep goodness in her heart, but she didn’t have enough faith in Emma’s ability to freely choose whether to pursue goodness or darkness. Snow doesn’t believe in Emma’s autonomy or ability to make moral decisions for herself. I fully understand why Emma is upset with her parents, and her mother in particular. Yet, if Emma’s going to hold her parents to such a high standard, why does she not also do the same to Hook and Regina, who’ve committed way more dark and dismal crimes than her parents?
I really hate what has become of Emma and Snow’s relationship since S1. I miss their friendship and their closeness. Yet, ever since Emma discovered Snow was her mother, she’s held her at arms length while not treating her father that way. I suppose it’s understandable on one level, especially since Snow still seems to think she was right to allow an exorcism on her unborn daughter. I just weep for what has become of Emma’s relationship with her parents, especially when she was just getting used to them, opening up to them, and calling them mom and dad most of the time. I’m especially saddened that now Emma’s especially close personal and professional relationship with her dad is effectively ruined, too.
